Maggie's baby eating through her would be like an all-time death on any tv show. I almost hope it happens because of how sick that would be.

I think Darryl is currently alive but I'm worried he will allow himself to be sacrificed to save Carol or someone else because he has already been shot.

I couldn't see them ever doing a walker baby like that. It would be wild and crazy, but I'm not sure AMC would push that envelop. I think some things are too much for most TV stations, and the mere fact that Judith is still alive lends some truth to that. I don't think Judith survived in the comics, although they did tease her death at the prison escape. If they were going to do a zombie baby like that it would have to be completely off camera I would think, we'd only see the aftermath.

As far as Daryl, no chance he's dead. For one, they're not going to kill him off with some lame shot from a side angle, that's just a tease. Second, he's on the Talking Dead next week. The fact they've announced that ahead of time usually means the actor isn't going anywhere that week....but they could be throwing people off the scent, who knows. Third, I think the writers probably know now that Daryl brings in probably more viewers than any other character on the show, he's the golden goose. They're going to ride that horse as long as Norman Reedus wants to do the show I'd wager, and when he goes they'll do an exceptional send off.

Just watched on DVR. Next week is gonna be like "whoa"...

In Talking Dead, there was a good point made about Daryl that you touched on. Dwight isn't worthy to kill Daryl. If/and/or when Daryl dies, it will be by the hands of a "big bad" (Governor, Terminus dude, etc). He ain't going out by the hands of some scrub in an off camera shot.

Which brings me to my next point.... We are meeting Negan next week...

Yup, super excited to see Negan next week. I hope they do more than an introduction and don't just throw him on screen and leave a cliffhanger. I'm hoping for at least 5 minutes of screen time. The show could really take off from here and hit new levels if they do it right.

As far as Daryl's end, I'm betting it will be spectacular and over the top, if and when they decide to do it. Something like him and Rick or Carol trapped...raging pack of walkers surrounding them (Hundreds). Fight ensues, massive blood splatter. At some point there's a small hole for just one of them to escape. Daryl plays the hero to buy the other some time. He continues fighting as his partner runs. More excessive blood, fire and explosives come into play to quell the numbers. Daryl continues, all the way down to the last walker. As he gets up from the carnage he turns to look at his own shoulder, showing the audience he's been bitten. He lights a cig, loads the crossbow one more time, and before he puts the bolt in his own mouth he says "I'm coming, Merl" and he fires. Women everywhere are sobbing, clutching their flatscreens.

That's the 13 year old fanfic girl ending anyway, but I imagine they'll do some big gesture like that to appease the estrogen carrying viewers.

Yes, would be all time. They have stepped it up a notch IMO this year, so who knows. Daryl lives. I'm seeing a rollover and stab to start the brawl as he's laying in the road.

I agree (probably to over the top), but who knows. I can see them figuring out the baby is dead, and doing an emergency CS to cut it out of her. That too might be over the top. Whatever they do, I hope they don't just explain it away as some pains.... to much potential there.

I think Maggie loses the baby. Weren't there bruises all over her back and sides when her and Glenn were in the shower? I don't think there is room on the show for two babies so Judith wins out.

Over analyzing but I don't think that's Daryl laying on the street. I think it is Morgan.

*SPOILER ALERT*

I read that the season ends with Negan killing someone with the bat, but we wont find out who until next season. Boo! if that is true.

I read the same thing. That would be one bs cliffhanger.

I kinda feel like with how great this season has been, they kinda earned the right to end on a cliffhanger if they want. That being said, I hope they don't.

Also, did anyone notice the guy Rick and Morgan saw at the farm was dressed in armour? Are they going to introduce Ezekiel (and possibly Shiva) and their Kingdom? That would be rad. Here's an article on that theory.

*SPOILER" - Don't open link unless you are okay with Spoiler plot from the comics.

It's funny. Never read the comics and mentioned to my wife this is what Rick needs to do with other groups

Agree on the great season but it would be too similar with what they did on the mid-season finally with Glenn

Whoever it was took a ton of blows....I'm guessing Abraham also. Intense episode, but I haven't seen that many commercials since the last ND football game.

That was the worst season finale I have seen on a show in a long while. I get the build up over the course of the season finale episode, but that was such a let down.

The season was pretty damn good, but that episode was such a disappointment.

The build up over the last two years for Negan and viewers got that...wow. The writers need to evaluate where they are going with the show, because straying from the comic books isn't working.

Negan was a weak villian. He seems like an idiot. Part of being a great villian is being smart and crazy, not just crazy. The guy sounds like he fell off a bar stool.

Abraham was giving him the evil eye.

He didn't GAF.

There was also the scene where he was talking about having children and hope for the future. He had the sunset behind him and was full of hope for the future. Which as we have learned, is right about the time they get it.

I couldn't disagree with you more...

His part was fantastic acting.
