Am I wrong or did they just completely change the zombie mythology in this episode? Since when are the walkers driven to walk into fire? That did not happen back on the farm did it?

More and more... I get angry at this show.

Since forever. This isn't the first time they used fire to attract them. Lights, sounds, etc have always been an attractant. Also, a very weird thing to get angry about. This was one of the best episodes ever. If you still walk away nitpicking and angry, then this simply isn't the show for you.

Does anyone else still get upset when a main character gets maimed or killed? I mean I have several friends that get excited and laugh about it like its a sick joke.

For example Carl's injury made me sick to my stomach. They were all.... Carl is gonna need a eye patch.

This is exactly what I was thinking. I just didn't want to say anything, haha.

I feel like this show will always have one unbelievable episode to draw the people's attention and then slow-moving episodes until the last episode of the season/before break. Hoping to have an awesome finish to the season because this season has been above-average so far, IMO.

Great episode. The only thing I'm upset about is that they keep killing off all the hot chicks.

I personally cannot wait for Glenn to die. It's going to be awesome listening to everyone whine about him and I guarantee tears will be shed on the Talking Dead.

I honestly love the show but it's probably the corniest shows I have ever seen.

Take Carol. I'm an Abraham/Morgan fan. But the comic has something in store for Abraham with another Savior. So we'll see if the show saves that part as well.

I would love to see Carol go but I doubt they kill her off anytime soon.

She is and has always been my least favorite character.

Thanks for cleaning up the thread, Cack. I feel like some people have their "opinions" of what will happen next, when really they've read the comics and know future storylines  I've seen people do it on other boards too. They assume they're the only ones that have read the comics.

I see your point. I didn't read the comics - I looked up the character Nedan in WIKI when GB named dropped him because I had no idea who he was.

The good thing is that the comics don't go along with the show. If that was the case, Michonne and Morgan would have had a fling and Morgan be dead already, Carol would be dead, and Nicholas would still be alive, and Daryl would never have existed.

So even though it was in the comics, it is still speculation if it will even occur in the show.

I feel ya. I wasn't calling out anyone in particular, but there were a few posts in this thread yesterday that instantly made me think "That guy read the comics." I've seen it before  It got out of hand when a few people then confirmed what was in the comics.

As far as Morgan and Michonne, it's not too late for them to have a fling. As far as the other stuff, yes, they do deviate from the comics quite a bit, but I think you would agree that a lot of major plot points follow the comics pretty closely. Maybe they don't always end exactly the same way, but the stories seem to be following the same concepts and arcs.

Thought it was a pretty good episode. I really like the new Jesus character. I'm personally not a fan of the whole Rick and Michonne thing but it's whatever.

I think it's time for Enid to go. I can also do without Denise.

lol when I saw them on the couch together I was like oooooohhh man here we go.

I was just annoyed that the truck went into the river. Felt so bad for them but liked the humor about them going back out again the next day.

It was great and agree that was weird. The 'scenes from the next episode' show the Jesus guy is going to be around for a bit.

My favorite moments were Rick and Darrel road tripping together, running ish.

Definitely an odd episode, but it was still good I think. Normally after they have an episode(s) with a lot of action they follow it up with a boring episode with a lot of dialogue that drags on. I appreciated the humor in this one, but some of that may have come from the introduction of Jesus. Things are heating up, from a perspective of references to the comic books. Should be interesting.

Also found it odd how Deanna got out of the community unscathed by Rick and all the members and the fire. But it makes for a good closure story line for Spencer I guess.

Agreed beryirish.....how the hell did she get out there when last we saw she ran out of bullets w/ a hallway of walkers coming to eat her?!?! I get the closure for Spencer/connection to Carl deal, but gotta set it up better than that. Really my first beef w/ anything in a while, loved the rest of this episode.

You didn't have any problem with the writers making Detroit a zombie free zone? Them driving a car made 2 to 5 year after the zombie apocalypse?

The real question of this episode is how can Rick run miles and miles in leather cowboy boots, come home and sit down next to a woman as he is taking off his boots and she:

(A) - doesn't get grossed out and yell at him then get up and run out of the room.

and

(B) - still gives up the good stuff.

So my guess is the "Jesus" character is one of the Neganites Daryl torched with that RPG...

Damnit.

we will find out looks like next week :)

Look at how ruthless the "neganites" (lol) were to Abraham, Sasha, and Daryl. Jesus was willing to talk to Rickyl/Darick and doesn't seem to be as hostile.

Easy... she just shut the door and turned. They don't show the walkers attacking her.

I have a feeling that he's not a bad guy. Just my hunch.

A - Aren't married yet. Nagging begins after.
B - LEt's be honest, she probably didn't smell too good, either.

The last scene of her was her running out of bullets shooting the walkers. She then screamed as they were coming towards her. Those many walkers I can't see a door holding them back from chewing her up if they can pound there way through more formidable structures.

Granted there's so many "no way" or "c'mon" moments in the show.

Since she seemed to be in good condition as a walker it makes you think that she did shut the door and they didn't get to her. Otherwise she'd be a gory mess of a walker when they found her in the woods.

But how did she get out then if the door was shut? Did she fall out of the window? Too many variables/questions to have it make sense.

If she shut the door, it's not like walkers just know how to turn the handle. Maybe the door had a lock on it?

Anywho, she was on the verge of turning. A couple scenes before, she was having trouble walking. Variables are only MORE ways for her turning to be logical. I think people put too much thought into it. She turned before they got to her, cant we just leave it at that?
