I remember this kid's stock was super high when his recruitment started to picked up and everyone wanted him. Then everyone realized how overrated he was and now he's not playing football. Good luck to the young man but damn no disrespect but I just don't think he was ever that good.

Does he not get paid to speak about ranking recruits? His entire job is based on providing people like us with those rankings so we can talk about them. To then insult those people might be the dumbest move on planet earth. It's like me soliciting my clients with recommendations and then making fun of them for the advice they take.

Sampson calls "fans" out sometimes, because they deserve to be called out.
There are many lowlife, unintelligent loudmouths and Sampson has spine enough to call them out.

Also, I'm not sure if you follow Tom Noie. But he has had tweets were he essentially calls ND students worthless for the energy and attendance.
Not to mention all the insults he dishes out to the fans and ND administration in general.

I love it when recruiting site guys make stupid comments like this. They are essentially calling themselves out as that is precisely what drives their business.

I think you're blowing his tweet well out of proportion. No where in his comment does he infer: a) that coaches know better than fans (which they do, but he didn't infer it) b) that fans were stupid for liking him as a recruit or c) that recruiting sites evaluated him wrong.

All he said was that he was dismissed and that all the message boards wanted him badly at Notre Dame during the recruiting process. Both completely true and readers can draw whatever conclusion they want from that. Any assumption of his intent outside of that is simply that... assumption.
