Nothing really to report, he liked his OSU visit. Kurelic think it's a MSU OSU battle. OSU leads

Michigan doesn't want him. Harbaugh has no room for an injury prone softy on his team, whereas others are willing to roll the dice because of this upside. Daelin Hayes is basically an inverted Chris Clark. Either he's going to put it all together and be special, or he's going to be wishy washy and a total bust.

Well that's a swift kick in the balls.

Kind of expected it. He's the type of kid who is easily impressed with the flavor of the day. If he visited Boise St. tomorrow, they would probably be his favorite.

He and his family will probably sit down and make a decision soon. And if they decide continuing the recruiting process is in Hayes' best interest, perhaps he will delay enrolling until 2017. This will allow him to really focus on his recruiting game in the spring, so he can be recruited on all cylinders next fall.

He's an EE so he better figure out what visit was most fun soon. I don't understand how kids who have been visiting campuses since 9th grade can be blown away what, 4 different times? MSU, ND, USC, ND, now OSU. This kid loves everybody. ELE.

If he buys this nonsense, then he belongs at Ohio State.

yeah it's called the NFL

I think this is the most bullshit thing I think I've ever heard a recruit say. "4 or 5 jobs offering 6 figures" right after graduation. I mean seriously? For a football player? I can't even think of a way that this statistic could be even possibly right it's such bullshit. Undergrad students right out of college at HARVARD average $60,000 a year.

“All are even right now,”

“Notre Dame, it’s Notre Dame,” Hayes said Sunday night regarding his high interest in the Irish. “Notre Dame is where everyone thinks I’m committed too.”

“With Ohio State, they’re new, but with Coach (Tony) Alford, I’ve known him since I was a sophomore,” Hayes said. “I’ve known Coach Alford for so long and my mom loves Coach (Urban) Meyer more than any coach I’ve talked too. My pops loved Ohio State. This was his first trip he’s come on. I had a great time.”

“There were lots of things I took away from Ohio State. The opportunity after football. Coach Meyer does it with Real Life Wednesdays where players get a chance to talk with Fortune 500 companies and ESPN Analysts. Guys are leaving as seniors, or me coming as mid-year so I’ll grad in three and a half years, guys are leaving with degrees and degrees don’t promise you a job. At Ohio State players are leaving with degrees with four or five jobs offering six figures because of the opportunities Coach Meyer is presenting them. You’re getting a chance to establish relationships with his contacts and it’s not what you know it’s who you know. That was fantastic, their development of the man.

“My mom loves Coach Meyer and getting on campus and meeting him for the first time, it was great and I really enjoyed myself.”

“Where it all started and they’ve been with me for the entire process,” Hayes said.

“This visit is getting back to where it all started. Where my recruiting process started. They’ve been with me through it all. It will be interesting. I can’t wait to get back down. I just look forward to seeing them play. I haven’t seen them play in a real game since my sophomore year.”

regarding a return trip to Notre Dame?

“I took one official and one unofficial, I’ve already seen everything I need to see from them,”

Maybe they are counting the numbers after the decimal point, as in $8750.75 as a barista at Starbucks; $9850.25 as a assistant night manager at 7-11; $8400.75 as a warehouse worker at WalMart; or $9200.45 as a Apple Store salesman.

FWIW, his mother seems to really enjoy the process as well. This is the same family that reaffirmed their commitment to Sark, citing his strong moral compass or whatever they said.

Sounds like Urban is trying to take a page out of the ND recruiting book.

This is shameful. Very shameful. If the kid actually believes their are these six-figure jobs awaiting him then he won't be bright enough to land one of them. Shame on Urbie and crew for having this kid leavinng that place believing that. I know that our pitch is similar but it's because a fellow hiring ND grad would know what the athlete did to EARN his degree at ND...which would actually have prepared him to be of value to a company. sickening. He's a piece of meat to OSU.

Let alone if Meyer pushes him out before he can early enroll!

I almost wouldn't put that past UM.

The between the lines on this one would be that Hayes doesn't really have the grades for ND, let alone early enrollment.

That makes the most sense, short of a bagman offering tons of cash to his parents.

Anyone have any information on how DH stands with ND admissions?
