Not a beer today, but have an awesome orchard on Long Island that makes hard cider. Got a growler of traditional, raspberry, and cinnamon. Nice change of pace.

It is very good. The first one I had I thought it was a small dip down (maybe a 90-92 where the past releases had been more like 95) but now that I am a 6 pack and 3 22oz bottles in, I think it is probably as good as the previous releases. Some of the off notes seem to have disappeared with a little time.

I smuggled a few bottles of that into Cali, it's illegal here, in college, everyone was super impressed, until it gave everyone the crazy shits or an epic headache...

In college we played a drinking game where you had 10 shot glasses lined up. 9 were vodka and one was everclear. Someone else set them up and you drank them and the everclear could be anywhere from the first to the last shot glass. It wasn't so bad if you got it towards the end but if you got it in the first couple it was damn rough.

Dear lord. How many people normally played?

We played a terrible game called "going to the farm." Basically dump everclear in a bottle of boones farm. There were no winners...

1 at a time. So you got the 10 shots to yourself. You just wanted a couple of vodka shots to lube you up before the everclear.

There was no winners only survivors.
