Anyone Watching "Walking Dead" on AMC?

Great episode. Probably one of my top 5 of the entire series. I'm not a Carol fan so that's saying a lot.

I'm beginning to think Rick may be the theme of all the bad episodes. I'm getting a little tired of the focus on him. This episode was a breath of fresh air.

You shut your mouth! Carol's transformation has been one of the best parts of the later seasons. She was an absolutely forgettable character in the first few seasons. She started making a turn in season 3, and by season 4 she was cranking it to 11. Things really picked up after the "Look at the flowers" bit, she hasn't looked back since then. Of all the characters to evolve into badass survivor mode, she was the least expected imo. Zero fucks are given by Carol, and the mind games she plays are the best. Not only all that, but the meme's she generates are hilarious:

I think my dislike for Carol has something to do with her relationship with Daryl. I really wanted to see Daryl and Beth together so idk.

Question:

If we see a "major" character die this season, who will it be? By major I mean people who have been on the show since at least season 3. I think, in order of likelihood to die:

1) Sasha
2) Morgan
3) Carol
4) Maggie
5) Glenn
6) Carl
7) Daryl
8) Michonne
9) Rick

1-2 are probably the only realistic choices but I could see 1-6 if they want to make a big splash. Please don't spoil anything if you know what happens in the comics.

I also think we see at least 3 less important characters die. Deanna, Abraham, and Tara are all likely IMO.

Yeah, I can see that, I was kind of enjoying the Daryl/Beth (Or "Deth") pairing until the writers fucked it up with a horrible story line ending for Beth, imo. I definitely wasn't digging the Carol/Daryl vibes they were giving off in prior seasons, but they rarely seem to really touch on them now and they've never really said the two are together or anything.

When you consider Noah didn't even make it through a full season, and they spent several episodes with Beth introducing him and building him up only to off him so quick, that Beth hospital storyline almost served no purpose other than to give closure to her character.

Definitely the best episode in quite some time. Carol is straight up bad ass! I love the conflict between her and Morgan. When she walked up between Morgan and Abraham and shot the captive in the head and then just strolled off was a great scene.

In response to gkIrish, I definitely think at least one MAJOR character gets killed this season. I don't read the comics and I don't have any "inside" info, but I really think Glenn or Carl will buy it this season.

No they revealed what that was at the end of the episode. Stood for "Just Survive Somehow" ---just something that kept her motivated.

What makes you think she is with the Wolves?

When she was sitting back to back with Carl, she said (paraphrasing): "This place is too big to defend. There are too many blindspots. That's how we got in." Also, remember last season, when she kept going over the wall to go somewhere. Then, she left right at the end when the attack was being thwarted.

I am not 100% sure, but that is where I think it is going. She was out on the road and got scooped up by the Wolves. She may also try to get Ron to join them, IMHO.

Hope it's not Sasha, not that I'm crazy about her character but i know her personally, she is from my home town and I'm very close to her family. I thought she was gonna get killed off back when she got sick at the jail but she made it through that. They've never really developed her character in my opinion. I've always hoped she would become more likable and get to be a major character but it doesnt seem like that will happen. I wish Carl would get killed off he annoys the hell outta me.

I don't buy the whole Enid as a Wolf deal. First of all she was there before that guy lost his back pack with all the pictures of Alexandria and long before our survivors got there. I do believe with all of her back story and the JSS stuff that she is a "lone wolf" and is just surviving somehow. Crazy people in the compound hacking people to death? I'm out. While she never killed any wolves, she didn't exactly mingle with them either.

I had Monday off because of the USC game, but still, either my OnDemand took Sunday off, or there wasn't an episode 3 on Sunday.

Or am I dumb and there have only been 2 weeks of show, therefore it'd make sense there isn't a 3rd episode yet?

I don't think he is dead now that I watched the clip again. I think he crawled under the dumpster because Nicholas lands on top of Glenn.

Yeah, Glen's first words in season one included calling him dumb ass over a walkie talkie. Then he does it again tonight out of the blue. So his first and last words to Rick are dumb ass. Seems like they are telling you he's gone.

That plus the fact that the other guy was the symbol of Glenn's shortcomings (aka putting others before himself) which finally was his downfall.

I will say that the camera angles don't 100% show that it was his own blood and guts and I find it very suspicious that the actor portraying Glenn wasn't on the Talking Dead afterwards. However they are talking about the episode like he is dead.

It's possible that they are setting us up for a huge shocker (him being alive). I also think it's odd that there was never a true Glenn/Maggie moment before he died. But idk, I think he's dead.

OK now I'm very suspicious. The "In memorium" part of Talking Dead didn't include Glenn. Just said "Please don't let this be true.

And yes, Nicholas landed on top of him belly up which makes it plausible that Glenn is alive.
