Monday Recruitin' Plays Both Sides | mgoblog

In sharing messages with [M commit David] Reese, Corley's interest in the Wolverines appears to be more legitimate than has been led on publicly.

At the same time, we talked to one source who said Michigan remains in the thick of the race for Corley's services, but that one unofficial visit doesn't likely upset the status quo, which is with Michigan State and Ohio State currently appearing to be in better shape for his services, if he was to decide today. However, the good news is that it would be a major surprise if Corley did not take an official visit to Ann Arbor at some point during the season, with the Michigan State game on October 17th being a solid possibility.

In a recent interview with Wiltfong he put ND in the same group as MSU, OSU, and Tenn. Sounds like this is going to go the distance as he plans on taking OV's after the season. At this point it seems like a long shot but we're still in contention

I'd also love to see them go after Miami's 2 stud WRs.

Yeah they have been good about checking in with a lot of those kids after Golden was let go. Certainly can't hurt. I really have no idea who we are gonna land with the remaining spots, but i did ask Loy today to name 3 kids that he feels will be in the class that are not already committed come signing day, and he gave me Hayes, McKinley, and Studstill. Even if we just held on to what we have, and added those three to the list, I would be ecstatic with the class overall. I think we finish with at least 25 though, so my expectations should get exceeded.

yeah the playing on saturdays must always be frustrated for the Detroit public league kids. Really hampers their ability to go on in-season visits. I can't see King getting challenged until they play Muskegon in the state championship game.

I don't know much about King's QB, Armani Posey, but he played great. They drive 97 yards on that last drive in 38 seconds to win. Posey looks like he has only one D1 offer. Definitely a late bloomer.

amazing play to win it for King but your heart breaks for Lowell. King is a very talented team with a bunch of D1 athletes basically freelancing and playing chippy, undisciplined sloppy football. Lowell is a community school playing with a lot of character and against huge size and speed disadvantages. They almost pulled it off

Truly amazing play by Corley, but as a defender, how in the hell do allow the receiver to get behind you like that? Damn shame, CB1. On the bright side - BVG on line 1 for you...
