I love how they point out how many records Brady has achieved in his career....he is a great young kid and a talented player but in 4 years he won 29 games...and as opposed to what the media says there is talent on this team....so while he has 36 ND records he won only 29 games in 4 years.

Yes, this will have a negative impact on some of these kids on the fence. If you were 17 and watching this would it influence you? Even if we were competative and lost that's one thing. We were DESTROYED. This will hurt us! We just lost probably two recruits at least tonight.

If we lost them because of this performance....we didn't need them to begin with. We need guys who want to come in and be a part of the team to help reverse it.

Hell I could complete 70% of my passes behind that O-line & vs. that porous defense. How pathetic. I'm not listening to any media tomorrow so i don't have to relive this debacle. Once I get thru tomorrow, the media will be preoccupied w/ the NFL playoffs, Nick Saban & the BCS championship game & the Sugar Bowl won't be mentioned again until next season.

Just a stat to throw out there...I know the defense sucked terribly in the 2nd half but Weis and his offensive genius got 1...yes 1 first down in the 2nd half.

I am not a Minter fan, but don't be too quick to dismiss him. Mattison fielded great defenses at Michigan. His defense at ND sucked. Now his defense at Florida is good.
I gotta think it isn't all coaching. We lack team speed in our secondary. And even if our guys have good 40 times, they play slow. We simply don't have the horses.

I say good things about the team...Svo never told me to stop....and I haven't been online or wanted to check all the posts recently. You are Mr. Jackass. I agree w/ Robert Smith's comments as to why they've lost 9 bowls in a row under 4 different coaches: "The bowls want to fill seats, ND can fill seats but they tend to be overrated & get matched up w/ a superior team & end up being in over their head". You'll never get the administration to turn down the most lucrative bowl, but this can't continue.

Boy, that ND marketability is a double-edged sword. So nice that ND gets onto the big stage when maybe it shouldn't. So crappy when the team gets overmatched.

Let's look on the bright side. It was a nice first half. The $ will be nice for the school. The replacement livingroom furniture will be good for the economy.

We have the NFL playoffs to look forward to, where a large majority of us are going to be disappointed again.
