I read in the SB Trib that game time is pushed back to 8:30, so I guess we'll have to adjust our countdown (and count on a half an hour less sleep tonight).
As to the game itself, I agree with a lot of the comparisons being made to past teams. I think that Ty tended to recruit a lot of finesse players for his "West Coast" style of offense (and defense as well). I'm not going to go so far as calling them soft, but I think that there is a reason why Charlie came in from day one and said that he wants to see a nasty team out there.
It is still hard for me to believe that the team consists of three of Ty's recruiting classes (only one of which is solid), and we are talking about a BCS bowl game.
I think that I am drifting off topic, but I don't think that we will see Minter blitz the way that he did in the past until he has the talent to do so.
If Minter contributes to landing the Tennessee trifecta, Charlie almost has to give him another year (maybe two). If Minter fails with three years of top recruits then he will probably take the fall.
Back to the game...my feeling is very similar to the ND-Florida game in the early nineties. So, I do have a feeling that we are going to see the green jerseys (just like in that game). I'm hoping the result is the same.
