The one that opened up near me a few years ago had really bad service. I wasn't too impressed.

1. Olive Garden (There is none higher)
2. Panera (Soup and sandwich....awesome)
3. Ruby Tuesday (Tremendous burgers)
3 Worst
1. TGI Friday's (By the time we get home from the 5 block drive, I'm on the toilet. Haven't set foot in a Friday's in 5 years)
2. Cheesecake Factory (Ate dinner there once before a Def Leppard concert and had a fecal explosion that rivaled Mt. St. Helens. Ate there after my sister's college graduation and proceeded to barf in the parking lot in front of grandma. Decided not to press my luck a third time)
3. Benigans (Meh)

i would definitely check sticky fingers out. when i was there, everything i got was excellent. i don't remember the service being good or bad, but the food was top notch. WHATEVER YOU DO, get something barbecued. i think they have a pulled pork/ribs combo plate. their barbecue is some of the best i've had.

poor tedwick =( i've had sticky fingers about 5 times. you have yet to taste the goodness of Sonny's BBQ. Come down to Florida ad jerseyborn, tommy, and i can treat you to the best BBQ explosion youve ever tasted
edit: i forgot to mention that jersey will pay since hes the oldest (and since tommy doesn't use periods... i could easily see how tommy would put "$3500" instead of "$35.00" on the credit card statement -- that would be bad)

O.G. was a good one, but the local one near me got caught with the whole man juice in the salad kind of thing... then I talked to some people who worked there during that time and was told that shit happened all the time...
Of course I haven't been backCheesecake Factory is the SHIT!!! Say it ain't so!!! Only complaint, the menu is much too big!!
Benigens is a real place?? I thought South Park made that up??? LOL!

Funny you should mention the place and SHIT in the same sentence. Eating there was the equivalent to someone putting two tons of C4 explosives in my colon.
Seems every time I ate there, that's what I'd end up doing. Next time I ever eat there is when I'm bound up for more than three days.
When my family wants to go out for dinner and doesn't want me to go, they decide on this place.

I'm not a huge fan of the cheesecake factory either. Ruth's Chris is getting to me too. Work gets take out from there all the time and it's getting old and my colon explodes all over the place every time.

If you call Cheesecake Factory and TGI Friday's fine dining, I feel sorry for you.
You're missing out on a whole world of opportunity. Come to Chicago ACamp and I'll take you on a food tour that would make you want to relocate.
I stay out of the chains for the most part, sans Olive Garden or Ruby Tuesday when I'm in the mood for a burger. If it has to be fast, I go to Subway. Can't recall the last time I had Mc D or BK...

Cheesecake factory has horrendous entree's, even thought they a have about 527 of them. But they do have good app's and desert's.
I've moved around a lot so I have some thoughts based on regions.
When in Chicago nothing is better than Portillo's. How can you beat a chilli dog and chocolate brownie milkshake. Yes... I said chocolate brownie milkshake. For those who still didn't get that... chocolate browie milkshake.
I moved to VA a couple years back and there is a place sprouting up around here called Five Guys Burgers & Fries. A pretty simple place but the burgers are really good and fresh cut fries.
And I also like those fresh salads you can get at a lot of restaurants now. Especially with the raspberry vinegarette, on the side of course. Maybe a little bit of skinless chicken breast if I am really hungry. Wash it down with a small diet soda. A lot restaurants are serving this now. AND THEY SHOULD ALL BE CLOSED!!! DID I MENTION THE CHOCOLATE BROWNIE MILKSHAKE?

TGI's is HORRIBLE... but give me Chilli's and Cheesecake Fac...
and In & Out is the best fastfood by far...
but I will say this, I have had GREAT food at say Sonic out is Mizzou.. but here in Cali... Sonic is horrible, could be the local... that would explain Olive Graden for you and Cheesecake Fac for me...

Portillo's Baby! I'm in North Texas now and literally die for an Italian Beef. So whenever we head back to Chicago we always hit Portillo's. I'll have to try the damn Chocolate Brownie Milkshake...
