Rumblings of a Sanders-Warren ticket are shaping up. I am not sure where she might be more influential for the Dems (Senate or VP) but if the party allows it that is one progressive duo.

Right on point...

The challenge of our time is not a do-nothing congress, but rather over-reaching Executive and Judicial.

An activist Supreme Court is an unchecked entity, and it must cease to be such. It must remain supreme in interpretation, but must not be allowed the leeway it currently enjoys...leeway to "Create" rights that are not evident in the constitution. This activity has no check...

I agree that the Court is out of control, but as long as it remains "supreme in interpretation," it can do whatever it wants. It interprets the Constitution, among other texts, and therefore determines the extent of its own power and that of the other branches and the states. Of course it is constrained by public opinion to a certain extent, but within that very wide space it can do many things, especially on the most controversial topics of the day.

Seems odd that Warren would refuse to run for president amidst much urging and then get on the ticket as a VP candidate for Sanders, whom I think it is clear she would have had a huge head start on in the Dem primaries. Sounds like wishful thinking from the far left. I would love to see it, but I doubt the has legs.

I don't think she would beat Hillary head to head based on resume alone. I agree I doubt it has much legs but a recent response from her about accepting a VP seat, she said "it was too soon to tell" and she seems to talk much more favorably for Sanders recently.

There honestly are not many intriguing VP picks for Hillary and I feel she will have to go with a young dude (minority or not). With Bernie polling much better than anyone anticipated a solid early VP pick for him could definitely do some good to his campaign.

I think she could give Hillary a run for her money. That certainly isn't based on resume, but more on a coherent and compelling message. I had not heard her comments about the VP seat. That is pretty interesting.

I would not be shocked if Hillary picked O'Malley as a running mate, to apease those further to the left than she is. I could also see her courting Jim Webb.

He'd be a solid choice. A respected veteran with legislative experience.

I'm not a big fan of O'Malley. He had a pretty lackluster performance as the mayor of Baltimore. He says the things liberals want to hear, but he was an ineffective administrator. Actually, I'd like to see Jim Webb at the head of the ticket. He's a proven winner in one of the crucial southern border states. Now, add Elizabeth Warren to the ticket as his VP candidate, and the Democrats would have a very formidable presidential ticket.

Odds are already in the Dems favor, big time, but I agree that Webb/Warren would be strong.

Awesome. Walker is getting tutorials in foreign policy. Big win for the Republican Party. I hope its better than the ones Palin received.

Well considering how bad and defunct our foreign policy was with Bush & Co. it was only onward and upward from the bottom. He hasn't done bad for a socialist, communist, fascist, pink liberal corporatist, crony capitalist No....? Oh and dat Nobel Peace Prize...haha.

I like how you ignored the other part of that 2nd tweet.

Plus if the jr Dem county whatever said it about a Clinton they could just Vince Foster another guy, right?

Both parts of the tweet were sad and whiney and had little or no connection to one another. I don't feel obligated to account for every thought that pops into the author's head when he is trying to make a pointless point.

If it makes you feel better, though, I think Hillary should turn over the server because the optics of not doing so are terrible. Also, iif she does turn it over, it has the potential to help the GOP, but also Bernie Sanders -- the candidate I will vote for in the Democratic primary.

Oh...OK...so the author of the tweet is sad, and whiny, and pointless. But your comment on it was valid and important. Got it. Thanks! Have a NICE day

Isn't that what you are doing when you post the right-biased random tweets and political cartoons? Reinforcing the narrative that you hold? Occasionally you will post one that is not so bad about democrats. I mean you do that in this thread all the time. You don't have to call him that, I can tell you think that because of your posting behavior in this thread. Its as transparent as glass. You do it when you post all the political cartoons, and tweets. Don't act so taken aback.

Walker just got into the race for President of the United States. All the other candidates are under the microscope and this guy is boo hooing because nww Walker is, too. Right or wrong, that is how the process works. His candidate has been in the race for an hour and already he is crying about his candidate being treated unfairly.

So yes, his tweet is pointless. You don't have to agree -- I can't force you not to be wrong.

Not saying he is wrong about anything. I'm saying he is crying about something that EVERY candidate has to put up with, as if it is some new attack plan to hurt his candidate. It's not. Presidential races are not for the weak. Bitching about it makes people sound like a crybaby. He needs to strap on his chinstrap because it only gets more brutal from here.

I already agreed that your opinion is correct and everyone else who doesn't agree with you is wrong; what more do you want?

I resemble that remark. But the opinions on the right aren't necessarily wrong, just misguided or misinformed.
