Absolutely no respect. Saturday it was UK, Tuesday UConn.

Today, Sagarin's Predictor has ND +15.92 against UC.

It's been 16 plus or minus for a month or longer.

He's had ND and SCAR at 1 pt or less for quite awhile. After ND's win Sunday, ND's -1.3

He's had UMD a 20 pt dog for awhile. They played Sunday and UMD lost by 23.

Sagarin's models don't take into account injuries like Turner or Reimer's hissy fit ... just results.

If "Gino going to give Muffet a little slap", then here are my sentiments, courtesy of the famous West Virginia philosopher, Mountain William:

"Little Coach Muffet
sat on her tuffet
eating opponents for lunch.

Connecticut's Spider
then crowded beside her.
She elbowed him
right in his junk."

Love!

I went to 1 girls basketball game in my 3 years at ND. It was the 2011 National Championship in Indy because the school chartered buses there.

I sat in the back of the bus with some friends and a backpack of hard alcohol. One buddy got so drunk that he hid the handle of whiskey in the front of his pants. The problem was that security made everyone lift up their pant legs and the bottom of their shirts before entering. The top of the handle was sticking out of his pants because, apparently, you can't fit an entire handle in your crotch. The security guard saw it, looked at him, looked at me, and said "I've never seen anyone do that. Just go inside."

I heard later that night that ND lost.

"Oh, my human head"

- Rack Em (the next day)

Way ahead of me. Back in the day, I spent mornings after looking for my head. Which is amazing because it was my keys, inevitably that were missing.

"500 shots a day".... I remember a West Virginia youngster doing that 60 years ago. Madison, you're my kind of girl.

McGraw can exhale after Notre Dame earns spot in final

Did you even realize Notre Dame is in its fifth straight Final Four, into the national title game for the fourth time in that span? And don't think the edge always goes to Geno Auriemma. The Irish won seven of eight meetings between the 2011 and 2013 national champs, including twice in the Final Four. It's no wonder McGraw mentioned in the locker room how she sometimes looks up at "one lonely banner," referring to her 2001 national title.

...

Understand that Notre Dame lost three first-round WNBA draft choices from last year's team. The Irish coach is kind of the Tom Izzo of the women's game. Underestimate a McGraw team at your peril.

Why the Connecticut Huskies will beat the Notre Dame Fighting Irish

Charlie Creme

The Three Keys

1. Who checks Stewie?
Turner seems like the obvious choice because of her 6-foot-3 size and strength. However, as Sunday night against South Carolina illustrated, the Irish can't afford to have their star freshman in foul trouble.

2. Which Allen shows up? Oklahoma City or South Carolina

3. Does UConn go big?
His "big" lineup, when 6-3 Kiah Stokes replaces Kia Nurse to play alongside 6-4 Stewart and 6-2 Tuck, could be even more utilized against the Irish to exploit an area where Notre Dame struggles.

Game Changers

Connecticut: Morgan Tuck.
Against the Terrapins, the redshirt sophomore was the best UConn player with 24 points and nine rebounds.

Notre Dame:
It will likely be Reimer who is matched up with Tuck, and vice versa, when each team goes man-to-man. Before the Final Four tipped off, McGraw called Reimer the difference in Notre Dame's season. She was again on Sunday night. Her 16 points on 7-of-10 shooting was only part of Reimer's contribution.

Prediction: Connecticut

Long passes have been a killer this year. Miss the crisp passes from last season.
