Another solid division 2 program in Michigan. Solid offer list as well.

This was good timing... Lucky says he's visiting per *BGI on 3-28 - edit*. I was just looking through the 2016 RB's and noticed that ND popped up on the interest level so I did a little digging. Don't know much about him but pulling anything Hairball wants during his honeymoon period will be tough.

It's good to show those worthy the love!

Don't remind us. He'd be on my very short list if I had a magic wand.

EMU are kinda funny, they rarely offer players they have no hope of getting and that's within Michigan/Northern Ohio area, nevermind kids from further afield. WMU is a bit more aggressive alright.

BGI has a video interview up that I haven't been able to listen to but per their board and Andrew Ivins his leader in Tenn. with a visit on the schedule for them. Obviously we didn't offer on the visit and Matt said the visit was alright.

We are looking to take another RB but with Jones Jr. in the fold I'm not sure we're going to be pushing very hard for Matt at this time.

Damn, he's been going to UM a lot this spring. That makes 4 visits in 2 months. If we had a kid visiting campus that much I'd like our odds quite a bit.

Another player getting pushed out by Harbaugh after giving a verbal. Was told by Harbaugh that he would not have a football scholarship if he came to Michigan because he hurt his knee.

So this is two backs that Harbaugh has now pushed out for better players.

I want to play football and I can still play at a high level, but at this time, I'm divided because Michigan is only giving me one option. Coach Harbaugh told my mother quote 'if Matthew comes to Michigan, he will not be able to play football.' But they would pay for my college education for academics. I would have to sign a waiver saying I can't play even though top surgeons told me, my family and Coach Harbaugh I will be able to get back on the field and play at a high level.

Ya know, they are saying they will give a free ride. I commend Harbaugh for that. Kind of odd to not even give him a shot at playing though.

It's hard to fault Harbaugh and/or Michigan on this one if the reported story is accurate. Falcon had an ACL his sophomore year, an MCL his junior year and an ACL on the same knee again this year. He's played less games than even Daelin Hayes. Michigan also offered to give him a medical full ride. So it's not like they pulled an offer and told him to beat it holding an empty bag.

Harbaugh steals Big Blue recruit's entire future then buys family's house in foreclosure and evicts them.

I still need to hear the rest of the story on Chris Evans to determine if what Harbaugh is doing is unethical. Until then, he gets the benefit of the doubt while still getting a FscUM for being a skunk.

This has to be taken into consideration.

Shouldn't this have been considered by Harbaugh prior to accepting his commitment? Two of them had already happened. Why accept a commitment from a kid with 2 previous knee injuries if a 3rd one will scare you away?

He's not taking anything away from Falcon. He offered him a free ride to the University of Michigan to honor his offer or Falcon is free to go to Rice / Duke / Vandy / NW to play football (if they want him) and get a better education. He could also attend EMU, play football and become a substandard PE teacher. His future has many options and Harbaugh is only taking one specific thing away from him. I would hope BK would do the same thing in this case.

Possible the third one could be more difficult to come back from than the kid is letting on.

I'll put it this way. In this situation, its very convenient for Harbaugh that he had another knee injury. If not, he'd just be pushing him out anyways. This has nothing to do with his knee, as he's doing the same thing to Evans, who is fully healthy.

Also, this shouldn't be a surprise. We knew this was coming when he went around the country picking up commitments left and right but kept telling the big boys he had room, when he didn't.
