I think his hands are made of magnets. Highlights are only catches... If he can block he'd be awesome.

We've offered him 24 times! Maybe the 25th will make him commit.

Don't see the southern schools involved. I guess they don't think they have much of a shot to get him to head south.

I no longer want any WR that is under 6'4'', unless he starred in a major motion picture as a child.

Add Bama to the offer list. Sounds like he received the offer while at ND.

If we had been recruiting these huge receivers all along, it wouldn't matter that EG is 4'2"

Haven't seen him, but his school is about 30 min away from me. Big time football program and they play very good competition in their league and in the state (AAAA highest classification).

Blue-Chip TE Cary Angeline Enjoys Notre Dame Visit

Sounds like the staff made a very good impression on him and his father. He has fam in Chicago, which doesn't hurt. No timeline for his decision, but ND had put itself in a good position moving forward.

Would love to see this kid as the sole TE commit in this class. A two tight end set featuring him and Aliz'e with Luatua as fullback and Boykin outside? Try and stop Dexter.

Hell that's like 3 years in the future. Smythe and Weishar may be great too. Wow I'm excited for the future.

The problem with Weishar is that he is not as athletic as the staff thought he'd be when he got to campus, and he has to bulk up. So if he bulks up, he could lose some much needed athleticism. So hopefully he can get bigger and still be able to run at a good enough pace.

True, though Smythe looks like the rare true dual threat in line TE's (hopefully at least).

The height looks legit:

any chance he could move to a different position? Kid looks very slight to me and narrow in the shoulders.

Loy in with the CB for ND. He says that he'll be sharing why soon. He's bringing his mother and sister on this visit since last time his father came.
