Lol so now this board likes Diaco. I've seen everything.
I for one always liked Coach Diaco, this is not my first or even second time making the argument above. My only criticism of Coach Diaco was in the ultra strict adherence to physical profiles when recruiting.
I suspect if Diaco lost most of his first 11 players, our defense would not have been as good
Nah I'm not saying that, at all. In fact I don't think anyone did. I'm just saying it's crazy how OSU can get shredded yardage wise and not give up points. The key is clearly a powerful front 7 that can stop the run in the redzone. If you have that and you make teams kick field goals, the ceiling for points comes way down. If you can't do that, then a lack of negative plays will doom you.
We have BETTER coaches than any time since Lou retired after listening to this kind of nonsense.
The pros loose one player and " don't have a chance". We loose 17 of 22 and our coaches stink. Terrific insights abound on this forum.
BVG gets next year before I pass judgement. With that said I've long been a supporter of Diaco has was the DC over the best defensive stretch we've had for a very long time.
If the defense is much improved from the 2014 season he should be fired.

Wow tough crowd.

Agreed. I am generally a fan of Diaco's game plans at ND. The jury is still out on BVG.
