Reuben its hard to keep booting people for lack of participation and you not participate as often as you do. Love for you to stick around as well but I had to act on it this time.

But...did it have to be s.komar to give the boot? There's something wrong about letting the USC fan boot the Irish fans

I had been participating recently, but I understand where you're coming from. I'll admit that I really didn't care for wars that much when they first started and I often ended up not even attacking at all unless the war was close. I wasn't going to waste the resources on a good army if the war was well in hand, not when I could search out better prey and attack with a cheaper army. This was certainly a war I should have participated in, but it looked like we had things under control when I checked this morning, and it was Trick or Treat for my kids tonight. Still, the fact that I routinely was eating 4-8 attacks each war and still not giving up 3 stars each time should count for something. Someone last week even commented that the other tier 8's should copy my design. The way I see it, eating 4-8 attacks is contributing strong defense. Not a lot of bases repel that many attempts in the lower tiers, Shellie is probably one of the others that comes to mind lately.

A few of the non-IE bros were on to hear of my catastrophic Clash event yesterday afternoon, but I figured I'd share with you guys too.

So I'm at a family party, and my cousin (he's 12 or 13, so there's no excuse for what I'm about to tell you) is playing CoC. I notice he's pretty new to the game when I see his setup, so I tell him that I play, too, and show him my setup. He grabs the phone to look at it, while I go on talking to some other people.

He hands me the phone back a couple minutes later, and starts laughing and says, "I don't know if it's bad, but I upgraded your Town Hall to level 10." First I thought he was joking, but I checked immediately and was horrified to see that he had spent 4 million of the 4.5 I had saved up (trying to max xbows and wiz towers) to start my TH upgrade. I was PISSED. Infernos aren't worth jumping as early as he had me going.

I cancelled the upgrade to get back half of my gold, but now I'm 3 million from a wiz tower instead of 1 million.

He also cooked me a govalpe army with a few drags thrown in, and started a barracks upgrade to waste another 2 million in elixir. Cancelled that too because I don't need another barracks that can push out pekkas right now, saving for DE storage upgrade.

Worst Clash day ever. I tried not to be too mad, since he's a kid, new to the game, and probably just wanted to spend all kinds of gold and cook all kinds of troops that he's never seen before, but I realized that based on the way he acted when he told me he upgraded my TH, that he knew exactly what he was doing and didn't care lol.

Getting booted hasn't really changed the war results, looks like they've won just one in the last two weeks.

I dunno what is going on. We set hard rules for war participation, won our last war, kicked a guy who went on vacation without trophy dropping, and DomerInHappyValley quit because he didn't like him getting booted.

We can either be super duper serious about warring, or we should quit warring and just keep everyone in the clan who we want in the clan. I don't know how to do it both ways, and it's not my call either. I'm pretty sick of war though.

I think our strategy in the last war was fantastic.

I say give it a few more wars by those rules and see what the results are.

Our rule has always been 2 missed wars lax. I quit because I'm unhappy with the direction we are going in.
Lost a lot of really good people because of war.

I have no idea what's going on or what Clash of Clans is, but checked this thread, and this post has me rolling over laughing. "We lot a lot of good men out there!" LOL.

Guys please let me rejoin.I've dealt with Prestige for almost 3 weeks now to accomodate other people, and I cant take it anymore. You think participation is bad on Rennagins? Think again. The feeder is awful for it. I have really boosted my defenses and attack strategy lately and I can be a valuable asset.

It's a clan. At least 3 members, possibly a few more. Not sure how mamt more because when they talk to other people, they might be talking about different clans. But yeah, it's at least 3 in the clan. 200 vBucks if you take those osu fans down. No vBucks if you lose so you'll have to measure the risk.

If you happen to take them on and defeat them, if there's a way to message them and say Go Irish or something like that, that'd be awesome. Theyd say something about it.

Unfortunately you can't pick your mstchup, nor can you target specific individuals. And if that isn't PG enough, you can't even talk smack to the clans you war against. No communication whatsoever, unless you manage to join their clan before war ends. And that doesn't happen because you're always on the lookout for spies (if you let a stranger into your clan, they can see your defensive placements. So we don't accept join requests during war as a rule, for example).

The makers of clash really put a damper on most trolling attempts. It's even hard (unless you're DomerInHappyValley) to troll in the global chat function.
