Stanford backing off any semi-talented skill position player is just beyond stupid.
Isn't it a bit silly to stop recruiting him considering he has younger brothers who seem to be studs as well? I'm hoping the St. Brown family is to Notre Dame as the Fuller family is to Virginia Tech.
I like your thinking. If we land him, I think it won't take mom or dad long to see how this was a good thing.
Equanimeous St. Brown, WR, 6-5, 200, Servite High School, Anaheim, CA visited Notre Dame for the Stanford game and the four-star prospect had nothing but good to say about his experience.
“Everything was great,” St. Brown said. “It was a fun time.”
St. Brown arrived on campus on Friday night and spent the evening dining and visiting with Notre Dame coaches and players.
“First I went up there, I had dinner, met up with a couple of players and hung out with them on Friday night,” he said. The next morning I had breakfast, toured campus, talked to the administration, talked to the athletic director, talked to some counselors and things like that.”
The game with Stanford was the centerpiece of the visit and the thrilling Irish victory made an impact.
“It was a well-played game by both teams,” he observed. “It was really exciting and Notre Dame came out on top.”
The Irish coaching staff made it clear to St. Brown that he was a major priority for them in this recruiting class.
“They said they want me there and that I could be a good asset to the team and things like that,” he shared. “I’m going to stay in touch with them.”
St. Brown does not have any other official visits scheduled at the moment but that is likely to change.
“I’m going to look at the schedules of the teams and go from there,” he explained.
The talented Californian hasn’t yet made a decision on when he will make his college choice.
That article is funny. It says nothing, but has many words.

My thoughts exactly. I was waiting for something interesting.

ESB does not come off as the most eloquent speaker, so it is no surprise that the quotes came off that way. His interviews are hard to listen to. Wouldn't be surprised if he avoids ND just due to the national spotlight and not being a great interviewee/public speaker.
I don't understand this one bit. Not one of our guys do post game interviews.
They do post game interviews all the time
On TV?

This
Yes
Not saying this is THE reason he has not committed. But something that weighs on him, no one wants their weaknesses exposed, especially a competitive individual. And I think we can agree that there are only a handful of schools who constantly have the media to handle like ND. Some people don't like the spotlight, that's all I am saying.
My Saturday gameday experiences are forever sullied. I will be sending a strongly worded rebuke to my NBC carrier.
Cack is referring to on the field interviews and I think everybody else is referring to locker room or outside the locker room interviews. Actually both occur. The later obviously much more frequently. We probably on field interview 1 player each home game from UND.com
