Also thanks for the Trampled by Turtles Dublin. I'm seeing them in a couple of weeks. Also going to see Jeff Tweedy and Jake Bugg (Didn't get ticket to Conor Oberst/Dawes this weekend though).

Nice one man I discovered them on a trip to Minnesota in 2009. Saw them play live at First Avenue (legendary music venue in St. Paul) and then picked up all their albums the next day at Electric Foetus. I still listen to the local radio station The Current online. The Twin Cities has an amazing music scene.

Two quick points: First Avenue/7th Street Entry are in Minneapolis. Here in the colonies the preferred spelling is "Fetus."

And yes, Trampled by Turtles are quite good.

I've been slowly putting songs on my new computer using iTunes.

Right now listening to Chris Botti and Miles Davis.

Just got tickets to a concert in Columbus with maybe the best four-deep lineup I've ever seen.

Cage the Elephant
Alt-J
Future Islands
Glass Animals

Shit is going to be unreal.

Been listening to quite a bit of Alt-J and Hozier recently. That should be a good show.

While I realize that most won't appreciate or give a shit, there may be one or two out there in IELandia who might enjoy:

There was a KC football game in my background "noise." Dave came to mind ...

It was incredible I was right up against the stage, feet away from Bob Dylan, Jeff Tweedy, and Jim James. Straight up chills, great way to spend about 6 hours.

Random question but does anyone know the name of the song played at the 54:06 mark in the video? I've been trying to find it for years.<iframe width="640" height="360" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/p4PPPz1ZwJ0?feature=player_detailpage" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

The Art of McCartney

Sounds awesome! Billy Joel, Smokey Robinson, Cheap Trick, Heart, Kiss, Steve Miller, Bob Dylan. One heck of an album of McCartney renditions.

Sort of mellow Texas country to lead me to dream land

LOVE this guitar player's tone when he kicks into the lead

Nice. It had me at the pedal steel lead-in. It has a Stephen Stills "Southern Cross" feel to it. That's a good thing.

Night-night.
