Article from this morning Wiltfong says that a source with knowledge of the situation says "yes" ND gets Wimbush.

PSU is going nowhere til they get themselves a HH type to recruit top quality OL. Sure don't they have two converted DT's playing Guard for them this year?

Wimbush wants to keep things relatively quiet for the next 24 hours or so to collect his thoughts and talk things over with his family. Right now the plan is for Rivals to have someone at St. Peter's on Monday.

I think that if he is going to flip it happens soon. I just get the feeling that he doesn't want this playing out too long. No info but I get that vibe from what I've read.

Yea, I understand that it hasn't been widely talked about an offer but does anyone really believe he doesn't have one or couldn't commit right now if he wanted.

I don't want to get ahead of myself, but back when we lost Barnett I was pissed, as I know many of you were as well. It was not so much that we lost him as it was the all of our eggs in one basket scenario. I saw how well Wimbush did at the camps and that he had interest in Stanford and wondered why these kids are not coming here. Well beat the team that is competing for these special kids that fit into a school like ND, Stanford, Vanderbilt etc., then get the kid that is the thorn in your side otherwise. Yesterday was big-time, and if this happens, we will be on the right side of a lot more games in the very near future! Rant finished.

Off the top of my head ther is Jordan Hill, Eric Shrive, Dakota Royer and Alex Kenny. I am certain there are plenty more ... i think we recruited Daquan Jones and Khairi Fortt ... I am on my phone so do not want to research but there are plenty

There are differences.

Were any of those players you mentioned committed to ND or were thought to be ND "leans"?

That was not really the question. It was stated that we almost always win out with recruits against psu. It just was not an accurate statement.
