I saw some things that give me confidence: we moved the ball fairly well, not as well as we have but Stanford's defense is pretty good. We've looked like the better team, our defense is stout and if you ever get down about having EG as the QB just think about having Kevin Hogan.

However the reason we're not up at least 10-0 is because of turnovers.

I'm so glad Stanford got the ball first. I think if we can take that opening drive of the 2nd half down for a score it will set us up for a big half. If we can get up by 10 we'll take Stanford way out of their element. That offense can't score more than 14 points against us in my opinion.

Take out turnovers and missed FGs and we're up 13-3.

I think we win if we avoid a repeat of the 2 turnovers. Both of ours were crippling. Stanford's turnover was just a good punt.
