Was on Power Hour last night and had great things to say about ND. His brother just got drafted by the Bills from Arkansas, so he's been around that program for the past 4 years. However, his dad is an ND fan, so we have that in our corner.

Funny note that literally made Mike Frank laugh out loud: Gragg received 53 letters from ND in one day recently. Been averaging about 8-10 a day from them. I found this funny cause a lot of guys dog on how Kentucky has been overloading Elam with letters. Looks like ND is going that route too as a part of their new recruiting strategies this year. Can't wait to see what else they roll out.

Edit: Miss spoke. I just re-listened and he said 63 in 2 days from ND.

A work in progress?

Or does the period say it all?

Haha, it was a work in progress, obviously. But Christian seemed like ND is going to go hard after this kid, and from the interview, he seemed high on ND. When asked if distance was a problem for him, he said he'd go as far North as South Bend, West as Stanford, East as ... and South as Miami. Him specifically bringing up Stanford makes it seem like these top tier schools are on his radar.

Being recruited by Booker.

More notes:

-Mentioned how he knows how short a NFL career can be, so getting a good education and making sure he has opportunities after football.

He also did a very good interview with rivals recently where he spoke very highly of ND. Also the rivals guys were very positive on him at one of their camps this summer. Apparently he was making the LB's look pretty foolish.

Would be a really nice pickup! Between him and Chris Clark, either would definitely meet the need of a dual-purpose TE (or true TE).

For meow. Think an offer from Tight-End-U might bump someone?

Good because all of those are shite TE schools...

Bama and FSU are using their TE pretty well right now. They don't have the history or the depth that we do, but they are both going to put a pretty good one into the league.

name a tight end from either that did well?? they each have a stud te right now, in o'leary and howard

basically all the schools he has listed don't have a proven track record w/ utilizing a TE much less developing

Those are the two I am talking about. Sometimes you don't have to have the proven track record to be seen as a good fit by a current high school player. We all know that we have a much better track record, but sometimes that gets overlooked.
