Correct me if I am wrong, but that is Michigan saying he is trending toward Michigan with the ND "scandal," isn't it?
Yes, you are correct.
Stupid Michigan.

What a damn shame that would be and a waste of talent.

Shouldn't be surprising that he's leaning Michigan. They have Greg Mattison, an elite DC and recruiter, all-in on him... whereas we have Mike Elston half-assing it.
Then throw on this PR disaster as the kicker... neg recruiting has never been easier. It was telling that he's not even sure if he wants to attend the ND-Michigan game.
This "scandal" is going to completely stop any recruiting momentum we have and give opponents insane amounts of neg recruiting ammunition. They can throw out all kinds of BS and it doesn't matter one iota if it's false.

proof of this?
Bilal has noted that he's had to reach out to ND, not the other way around. My statement is a bit of an overstatement for sure, but we are getting outworked by Mattison a little.

Is he questionable academically?
No not even remotely close from what's been stated about him by his coach. In some cases the approach (that Pandfan touched on) might be the right one but in this situation we should be all over this kid. I'll add that it's my opinion that if we were on him as much as UM is, he'd already be committed. I basically think that's what he's searching for from ND. His coach making those statements publicly are like "feelers". When this gets back to ND, will they step it up.
The only thing that makes sense is the staff is still debating how many LB's to take this cycle and maybe training camp is changing the previously thought numbers.

Nah, fantastic student.

I agree with the perception of being out worked. Not saying it is true but we have heard more than once that other schools are making recruits feel more important. It's almost as if they are recruiting like they don't plan on being here next year.

That is against Cathedral, one class lower than BD and the rest of the Big Dogs...but legit (for the record in my HS days was 3-0 vs Cathedral).
Indy's high school game of the week.
Cathedral is always strong in Indiana football.
