Do you take vbucks?

I think this kid would be a good RB pick up, but after watching Nick Coleman's film, I feel like he might be a better RB.

Not that it's one or the other, just saying.

LOL - it doesn't matter if I take vbucks, does Ty'Son?

Three or four crystal balls predicting Ty'Son to ND today including Mr. Wiltfong.

This kid is a very fluid downhill runner. I really like his film.

He's trying to plan a visit and it's possible he commits without visiting

He talks with Alford all the time and loves the way ND uses their running backs

the depth chart being an issue must not be as important as being reported?

would still have GB and Tarean for most likely 2 more years

Considering we didn't get a back last year and Folston burned a RS year, the depth chart at RB is extremely inviting, even with those two having 2 more years after this one.

So in 2015, he'd have Folston/Bryant with 2 years a piece (who knows if one of them goes pro early. I doubt it, but never know).

That's it.

ND can legitimately guarantee whatever 2015 RBs come here that they will get meaningful reps in their first year here. That's the best looking depth chart you'll see for a 2015 RB, IMO.

with the offense that he plays in, i don't see there being anyway he doesn't redshirt....would be too big of a learning curve for him as a freshman

would like to see this kid in a spread offense.

Unless I'm totally blanking on someone on the roster at RB, I honestly don't think the RB that signs in 2015 will have a choice unless we get two of them.

So if we got Soso (too early for prayer pics?) from Texas and he was better, maybe.

But if we just get one RB, I'd eat Wooly's vine booger if he doesn't play as a freshman.

I'd bet a lot of money that the staff takes more than one RB this cycle.

I think we get Ty'Son Williams and that USF commit

IDK, I'm not a film evaluator and some people including GB aren't crazy high on this kid, but I loved his film.

He has a great blend.

He has that natural style where he's always leaning forward (think anti-George Atkinson), whether he's cutting, sprinting, or hitting the pile.

The bagman better get this kid to campus.

Regarding Soso: Any update on his upcoming visit? Per Soso thread, Per GBDomer, Per Anna:

The Notre Dame staff was hoping to get Jamabo on campus for the Irish Invasion camp on June 20, but I think they’ll settle for having him in South Bend earlier in the month.

“I’m making plans to visit right now,” he said. “When I get back home I’ll arrange flights and I’ll probably get there June 8, June 9 or June 10. That’s when I’ll take my visit up there.”

Just saying if you're a RB and given a decent draft projection, you leave early, especially with the new CBA. Their careers are short and every carry you make takes its toll, even at the college level.

To add: Williams said the competition would make him better. The sounds of this article and his quotes were very good for ND.

Per 24/7 Carolina Blue page:
a class of 2015 running back from Sumter (S.C), tells 247Sports and CarolinaBlue that his top four right now are "Notre Dame, Wisconsin, USC (South Carolina), then Clemson."
The 5-foot-11, 200-pound 247Sports composite four-star has offers from North Carolina, N.C. State, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Michigan, Duke, Virginia, and Mississippi State in addition to his top four.
Williams's 247Sport Crystal Ball is currently 57% South Carolina, 36% Georgia, and 7% Notre Dame.

Per Ryan Bartrow:
FYI, that's his Top 4 in order.

Williams adds that Notre Dame is currently his leader because "I just felt like I fit good and the tradition."

He doesn't have any summer visits set up yet.

It's going to be nearly impossible to pull him out of the state.

Remember all the criticism and heat Chris Brown and his family took when he committed to Notre Dame.

I agree. We would need to get him on a visit before I start to think he would leave the state.

We lead and he likes ND. I think we're in good shape here.

I bet if he visits, it's game, set, blouses.

I can't imagine someone legitimately having ND as their #1 school without even visiting, and not liking it when they do.

No to be a pedant, but his mom is in the Army, which means they are most likely based out of Ft. Jackson in Columbia. I don't think I have read anything about his dad.

I agree. I hope he visits. I am also not putting too much stock in his top schools until he actually visits them.

Thought I read yesterday it was his dad. Mea culpa.
