Would easily be the son of the most popular 'star', unless you count Montana maybe, no?

I like rap/hip hop, although I've never been a huge Snoop fan and only really liked a few of his songs, but I'd think he's easily 'top 10' of all time if there were a poll.

Bon Jovi man.

Snoop had one good CD, Doggy Style...that is it.

You'd actually put Bon Jovi higher in rock and roll than snoop in rap? Idk man. Maybe it's not fair to compare that way since there's probably a larger pool or rock stars than rap.

I just feel if you did one of those 'name first thing that pops in your head' studies and show the word 'rap', snoops getting mentioned a lot.

Apples and oranges. I'd put Bon Jovi over Snoop Dawg in terms of Being a "star".

I think Snoop would be the bigger star and more recognizable name. Snoop has become a star for his persona more so than his music. Doggystyle was great, but I think he is more famous for just being Snoop than anything.

I get it, Snoop is really popular...laid back cool mofo. But who hasn't heard of Bon Jovi? I know plenty of people, mostly older granted, who would say Snoop who?

I'll say this to your point...Snoop is more appealing to potential recruits considering ND.

Bon Jovi is now a goddamn country singer. I had to think about why he was on the Hurricane Sandy fundraising concert, until I remembered he's from Jersey instead of Arkansas. Not that I was ever the biggest fan of his old stuff (there are a few gems), but now it's pathetic.

Myself personally, like Snoops music (Doggy Style especially) much more than Bon Jovi. I'm not a fan of Bon Jovi, like a few of their songs. But Jon Bon Jovi is a huge "star".

So apparently Cordell and Rosen have been talking quite a bit about playing together. At the LA rivals camp Cordell was doing an interview and Rosen yelled out so they could hear him that they were definitely going to be playing together and Cordell went along with it. He didn't sound like it was set in stone but something to follow. Obviously we know that would lead Cordell to UCLA if it came to fruition.

Per 247 UCLA/USC are in favorites in Cali and FSU is his favorite out-of-state.

Wants to definitely visit LSU, FSU, and Baylor this summer and take official visits to Miami, FSU, LSU and Notre Dame this fall. He will be a National Signing Day Decision.

That's a tough question this early but...

I think we are looking at 1 outside guy ESB/Strickland, 1 do it all WR call it whatever position you want, and 1 slot WR. That's why I see it has one of Strickland/ESB, Newsome (or somebody in that mold), and somebody as a do it all WR. KJ hill, Humphrey Jr fit that mold

Let me say that I think that's the top of board not necessarily who I think we get.

Okay, here's an opinion from someone older.

I never listened to Snoop and when BVJ was in his heyday I didn't listen to him either. He wasn't my cup of tea when it came to rock. Having said that, I would say Snoop dog is more recognizable.

BTW......Just because you're old doesn't mean you don't listen to new music fellas! Now where's my Dave Clark Five CD?

I don't know. It's so quiet in here I can hear the Crickets chirp.

I personally think Bon Jovi is more known to the public than Snoop Dog. Majority (not all) of the older crowd as no clue who Snoop Dog is. Almost everyone of all ages know who Bon Jovi is because everyone knows the words to a few of his songs.

It depends on the demography of the group you ask, but if there was a way to survey the population of the United States. More people would recognize Bon Jovi; I feel pretty safe saying that.

I think Snoop is way more popular then Bon Joni. Maybe because I hate Bon Joni and all that terrible music.

I have sat here and not said anything for a long time. But my son was working his way into this business deal to sub contract some work that two other yahoos were putting together with a celebrity party. It was so bad, my son and I don't do any work together at all any more. We just enjoy our family connection.

I don't know if the deal is still alive or dead, so I won't share any detail; but I made my son get us out of it. At any rate these kids my son knew, gangster wantabe's from this end, I think they owned some Metro PCS stores started this deal. And this really neat guy was driving it from the other end. And I was all ready cranked off at these other guys. I felt like their ego's were so large that I couldn't tell whether I could do anything, but that is neither here or there.

So anyway we go to this meeting which I expected to be with a celebs' business agent, and I am already really hot under the collar because these two idiots are just breaking this thing. As my attention was elsewhere, and the meeting lasted all of five minutes, and Snoop doesn't look, act, or even sound like his media persona, I had no idea it was him! The guy is gracious, polite, a hell of a business man, and tall as hell. Much taller than Diaco, probably even taller than Mike Heuerman. So don't say we old geezers don't know him, we do! We just don't recognize him.

lol, I never said anything about Snoop's personality, I have only heard great things about him regarding his personality.

Like I said, majority of the older crowd does not even know who he is, not every single one. There are always exceptions, you are one of those. I would say about 90% of the population 45 years or older does not know him. Most of that number has probably never heard his name.

People of all ages will sing out loud (they will belt it out too) when the big Bon Jovi songs come on. So yes, GBdomer, your opinion is weird. :p I have personally seen an entire D1 football stadium start singing to this song...

Then the crowd boo'd when they stopped it to make some advertisement or say something pointless.

Maybe ND will turn into the college where famous people's sons go play football? Robinson, Hunter, collinsworth, maybe Broadus?

The opportunity of being able to yell "snoop a loop!" Every Saturday gets me cautiously excited.

Here's hoping SC poops themselves and mora bolts for the NFL.
