The Wolverine fans are laughing right now, and nothing else.
Well, this is kind of a parting shot. I won't post here anymore unless you guys win out leading up to the USC game. I won't watch any more of your games since you don't play common opponents anymore (I usually watch for scouting purposes).
Couple of observations though:
Great win, great comeback, great momentum boost, but a bit of reality.
Your defense sucked tonight. Other teams aren't going to give you the game the way MSU did. Your secondary was torched, once again, and your LBs did nothing.
Your OL was horrendous tonight. They should have dominated the entire game against those terrible DL, but they didn't.
No running game, once again.
Unless these problems are fixed, I think Purdue or UCLA will pick you off. Momentum helps, but there are underlying problems. The point is, MSU is not a very good team. If Nd was that good, this game shouldn't have been close. There are way too many holes on this team. There must be corrections or losses will ensue, even with inferior opponents. And this is certainly not good enough for USC.
I think we saw who the true Irish fans were tonight. These are the fans like Svboda who didn't stop believing, people who might have listened to me when I said MSU has a history of choking. Irish fans are a interesting bunch. They're so swayed by emotion.
So adieu, and good luck.
what part about pointing out when my teams plays bad don't you guys understand? Did I quit? No... Did I say we were playing bad when we were, yes... Since when can't a fan point out the obvious about his team? you guys crack me up...

Victors...yes we do have holes. However, you can't deny that a win like this can build great momentum for the rest of the season. You guys didn't look that great today, until the 4th qtr. Yes are defense was not great, but if you watched that last TD by Caulcrick you know that that TD should have been called back. Did you see Trevor Laws get pulled back? Our defense gave up 6 points and forced 3 turnovers in the 2nd half. Nevertheless, I watched till the end knowing we could still win if we put a solid 30 minutes together. Don't even act like Michigan has never been in this situation before. Michigan is still growing as well. They have not arrived. Anyway, we've played you already....you beat us soundly. Now go troll somebody else's board. For my fellow fans, please tell Charlie to punt the ball sometimes. That 4th&8 call was horrendous. Charlie it's called pooch punt. Try it one day. GO IRISH!!!!!!!!!!!!! HELL YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Mark May is such a bitch, just say ND earned it...
ND capitalized on Sparty's mistakes. 3 Stanton TOs lead directly to 14 points and sabotages the chance at a FG to make it 40 all.
At the end of the day, it was MSU coughing one up more than it was the Irish taking it away.
????Maison? Is that you not giving credit where credit is due? YOU are the last one I'd have thought would do that. I'm usually impressed with your input. You could make those same statements about last weeks game with UM.....It was more ND coughing it up more than UM taking it away. I have to say, I'm disappointed with your evaluation.
Nothing we didn't already know, man....we might be happy with the comebac but it doesn't mean we just booked a hotel for the fiesta bowl.Couple of observations though:
I see it as 2 games in 1....the first being that they played like crap and allowed the opponent to go up big on them with the 2nd being they finally woke up, took advantage of the turnovers and earned the win. I'll take that over falling apart completely after getting down by a few scores and then letting it turn into a rout.I will admit I gave up on the Irish during this game...but in all fairness we shouldn't have won this game....I am happy we did but we didn't deserve it we played sloppy and it took a miracle on two DB's that all you guys wrote off long ago and I gave credit to. We were lucky to come out with a W and we must...MUST get better!
