Seriously though, after watching those highlights, this guy is a way-more polished version of IM, with way-more open-field speed. This guy is now my personal favorite.

In fact, I'm gonna try my hardest to not even use IM comparisons anymore because this guy looks like a quality, pure slot receiver.

That's a decent comparison, but I think Davonte made his name with his ability after the catch. It felt like more than %50 of his film was amazing runs and broken tackles after catching a screen pass.

At this point, Newsome's highlights consist of similar great runs, but it looks like it includes more actual route-running that opened some of those big runs/great cuts.

When recruiting QBs, BK should simply take charts and statistics to show the numbers Rees put up in his offense, despite being a statue with limited arm talent and questionable decision making ability.

Was going to come to the spring game with Guyton, but his parents weren't able to come so he cancelled. ISD says this is actually a good sign and he has rescheduled a visit in June. Also wants to visit Oregon, UCLA and FSU soon. He's pretty tight with Guyton and they talk a ton.
