A new name to watch at RB per Tom Loy. He expects him to be our next RB offer, and the staff is trying to get him on campus for the Junior Day this weekend. An offer should come in when he gets on campus.

Tenth RB offer of 2015 correct?

Depends who you count ATH vs. RB, could be the 11th RB offer. Josh Adams, Nick Brosette, Jordan Cronkrite, Damien Harris, Soso Jamabo, Ray Ray McCloud, Kirk Merritt, Jacques Patrick, TJ Simmons, Eric Swinney

Does he attend the same HS as Robert Hughes did?

Nevermind: Hughes was from IL but the high school name is the same, I think.

offered by Kentucky.

I know Stoops is trying to build something there, but I still laugh whenever I see "offered by Kentucky" when compared to most of the schools on an offer list.

From the depth at running back, I like that we're extending a lot of offers. Better chance of landing one rather than focusing on 2 or 3 and then missing.

is it just me or does 2015 seem to be loaded nationally with solid talent...or is it just the same ole winter/spring evaluation period where all the offers go out and we just get a quick glimpse of them and they're gone b/c they have no interest?

or is just more elite talents are interested in ND than in the past several years?

I personally think it's a mix of both. We usually send out a good amount of offers at this time to high level rising senior prospects, most of which are guys who never make it to campus.

It does seem like we are casting a wider net than we had the past few years, specifically in some states and at some positions, which I think is smart and prudent. I especially love all the Texas early interest and offers we are displaying. Given the choice I would rather allocate more resources there than California.

This year does seem to have overall better talent especially at qb, rb ( though you will not see a better prospect than fournette), WR,
though I would say overall lb and dline are not as strong as last year
