I thought they were going to have him play with his hand off the ground. Am I wrong now?
Who is they? The 4-3 guys that he committed to or the 3-4 guys here now? There was discussion about him bulking up to play DT in a 4-3. I don't recall reports on where he'll play in the new regime.
Has the heaviest hands.
What does that mean?
Probably a good punch reference... lineman, offensive and defensive, are taught to make contact with their hands and not to throw their weight into the opponent as they would easily lose balance. Hes probably very good at using his hands during contact with a good initial punch.
Just a guess though.
dyrtd- I did not think he was LDS...
Badger, along with fellow Mormon teammates Manti Te'o, Kona Schwenke and Justin Utupo, have been inviting curious teammates to attend an LDS family ward in the area. Badger has also spent time with the full-time missionaries at least every other week since January
Being a football player opened doors to talk to people you wouldn't otherwise and explain the church. Some of the people I talk with now probably wouldn't listen to me with a name tag. I have been able to talk to coaches and numerous other players about the church. Everyone has been really receptive of it. It's been a completely positive experience.
