I don't think it would be hard to flip him from Vandy to Tenn or UGA. There are a lot of kids in that area that love those two programs. It might be tougher for us, though the academic selling point may be the angle we can work on.

From all I have seen and heard about this kid, I think he is not going to wind up at Vanderbilt ultimately. ND is going to have to beat out Georgia and Tennessee, not Vandy, IMO.

Many Vol fans are saying that they would be surprised to see him flip to Tennessee since he was banging on Tenn on twitter pretty routinely. Maybe it was a natural response to Vol fans ridiculing him for choosing Vandy where Sawyers declared "I am officially committed to Vanderbilt University.I'm going to get a world class education,win SEC championships, National Championships".

Bottom line is most Vol fans don't see him flipping their way and most of them don't really want him. I'd say his statements on Twitter had something to do with that.

Vol fans want every player right now.

They're just bagging on him because he bagged on them earlier. If he chose ut, I'd see 619 posts on facebook claiming how great their school is, how great their recruiting class is, and how great Butch Jones is.

A guy from 24/7 interviewed most of the Vandy commits prior to Franklin leaving gauging what they might do if he leaves. Trent Sheffield was quoted as saying 'nothing would change my commitment immediately'.

Franklin is announced as PSU coach - 45 minutes later Sheffield decommits. Recruiting is a crazy thing.

Didn't TP allude to ND not taking another DL/DT in this cycle (with the exception of a couple the staff had at the top of their board) because of other guys on board already? Like they gave their word to a recruit that they wouldn't bring in another guy, unless it was one specific guy?

In all seriousness, I'd expect someone who ran a 4.9 to run a much slower 100m. Or vice versa (someone who ran a 12.0 100m to run a much faster 4.9).
