Go Army, because my dad was Army ROTC at Xavier and did two tours as a FO in Vietnam...

...or Go Navy, because my grandfather is a '40 USNA graduate and fought in World War II...

I never know who to pull for. :(

Same here. Navy and Army servicemen in my family. I enjoy the game and the spectacle. Great event.

pull for the seamen

20 years ago ND played USC and Navy in South Bend in successive weeks. There was a banner hung from one of the dorms for two weeks that read:

Break Through The Condoms and Beat The Seamen!

(ND won them both)

I have always rooted for Navy for some reason... But enough is enough, I'd love to see Army win one.

Always rooted for Army. Either way, the winner is a group of young men I tip my hat to.

I always rooted for Army because my dad did an 18th month stint in Army khaki in the days when every young man had to do his turn. He did a spell in Germany. Army was always, and is, my second favorite team after the Irish. I love this game. The Army kid -- Steelman?-- fumbling last year on his way to winning score is one of the most heartbreaking and genuine moments in my sports-viewing lifetime. Go Army.

I always rooted for Navy. I grew up an hour south from The Point. Saw Dawkins play but rooted for Bellino.

It was a tad awkward during my Army years but while stationed in Germany I cleaned up on Army/Navy games. With no Swabbies around there were a lot of Soldiers looking to place a bet but no takers. So I obliged purely in the interest of sportsmanship.

I meant it's been a rough decade against Navy.

Yeah, they were 0 for 10. But they also lost 14 of the last 16.

Army's 22-41 against Navy since 1949 and that includes a 5 year Army win streak in the 90's.
