Honestly, (not jealous) I don't see him as a head coach type...

Neither do I. Kelly has essentially shut him off from the media since the Navy game their first year (with a few exceptions). Obviously the media coverage at UCONN won't be anywhere near ND's, but if Kelly couldn't trust him in front of cameras as a DC, he probably wouldn't do very well as a HC. The kids and fans will love him, but I can't see his defense working with Uconn's talent level.

I don't think it is unusual for an assistant to leave, get more money, and become the Head coach of a program.....don't see that as a joke
