Yeah it was tough that the ND Minn hockey game was the same night. I think that drained a large portion of the Bball crowd, especially student section away. Compton was rocking but I heard that Purcell was not a great atmosphere. Anyways, glad we got the win.

As a side note, I'll be keeping a close eye on rebound differential and points in the paint from here on out. If Sherman-Auguste-Knight can keep those stats competitive I think we have a shot with just about anyone. If not, things could get ugly.

Does anyone know of any good sites i can watch them play online? I always wish i could see some games but they arent on much

Sherman and Connaughton are the key to a good run this year. Inconsistency is their middle names.

I just turned on this Cincinnati/NC State team and was thinking I would root for the Big East. Then I remembered we were in the ACC now. Go Wolfpack?

Down big early to Indiana St., fought back to take a lead then offense went cold and ISU built up another double digit lead. Started to fight back but its going to be too little too late. Too many turnovers and cold spells on offense. Looks like it will be a disappointing home loss. First in Brey's career in November. Tough loss, but not the end of the world, hope the guys learn something from the defeat.

I think IMO they have taken a lot of bad shots. And Indiana state has shot almost 50% of FG and 93 from the line as well as 55% from 3.

Damn thats pretty bad. What are the expectations of this team this year? I figured theyd be pretty good, maybe just an off day though

We should have the talent and depth to have a pretty good year. Hoping just a bad performance today because have a lot of tough games this year with the ACC conference schedule plues Iowa, Indiana, and Ohio St out of conference.

I watched for a little bit and it looked just like most Brey-coached games against athletic teams. Also, ISU shot very well. Could be just an anomaly. I think we'll barely make the tourney and make our customary first-round exit.

Indiana State beat Wichita State last season, it's not like they're that bad. The loss really sucks though.

The only game I care about is the Ohio State game in NYC. I'll be there with my OSU roommates, Brey better not disappoint.

At this point we need to beat Indiana and at least be competitive with Ohio State to have a respectable out of conference schedule. And it would be really nice if Indiana St. made the tournament.

Buster, I already bought tix to that game. Gonna be a big family affair and a few friends from OSU law are coming down for the game, too.

I don't feel that bad about the L considering #12 UNC lost at home to Belmont and #7 Michigan lost to Iowa St. at home. We will be fine.

This was not a terrible loss. Disappointing yes. Indiana state is not a bad team, they will win the Missouri valley conference this year, make the tournament and may upset some teams. They are a pretty experienced team. ND is pretty young other than Atkins, grant, connaughton, and Sherman. The bench players that give these guys a rest are either freshman or inexperienced sophomores. ND is not playing the typical early season schedule either. They have a tough out of conference slate this year.
What ND lacks is a big time scorer, which they have had the last several years. Hopefully one of the young guys can step up into that role.
I think this season will be a typical Brey season, great regular season, under performing post season. I can also tell that this is a Brey team, live and did by the 3 ball. Man I miss the days of Colin falls and Kyle mcalarney.

I will also be at the OSU game. Always great to be at the Garden.

I think Grant will be the go to scorer. While we went to Cooley a lot last year Id say Grant was the go to guy then too. Also in this era of college basketball you can't say you are young when there are 4 guys with a lot of experience even if not a lot of experience on the bench. I do agree with everyone that the loss today was not a horrible loss, just disappointing.

I think we're in 113. Got relegated there from a sweet deal for lower seats that fell through..
