Coming in a few points behind Vick: San Diego Chargers linebacker Manti Te’o, who scores a 48% dislike rating thanks to last year’s bizarre “fake girlfriend” episode toward the end of his college career at Notre Dame. With a foot injury limiting his playing time as an NFL rookie, Te’o simply hasn’t had the chance to turn attention away from the old drama.

“I think this will stay with him until he gets the chance to prove them wrong,” says E-Poll Chief Executive Gerry Philpott.

This right here pretty much sums it up. Vick is hated for obvious, understandable reasons. Manti is hated because he was naive? Come on, man.

Who cares, its a fan vote which means lots of casual fans who don't understand football. You ask 20 women who don't watch football who their least favorite player is and they will say Michael Vick and when you ask why they say because he killed dogs. It has nothing to do with their actual knowledge of what type of player they are
