Kona started, in the ASU game, so I think you will most likely get your wish.

For those of you who will be on campus Saturday, you should really watch this hurling match if you get a chance. Hurling is an irish game described as a cross between "2nd degree manslaughter and lacrosse". And is great "craic" [aka fun] to watch. This is the first game in the US under a new set of rule so it is really special to have it at ND with the best hurlers in Ireland.

The game is from 3pm to about 4, so there will be plenty of time to tailgate and walk around campus before and afterwards. Plus its free admission.

Also, I have no idea how hard/heavy that ball or the sticks are... but that seams like absolute madness to play without pads. Consider that women's lacrosse recently made it mandatory for all players to wear masks in a sport where you can't check towards the face/body and the ball moves about half as fast... and it says everything you need to know about the "pussification" of America.
