You boys are serious about your cornhole!! LOL

Those boards look awesome , fellas.

I want to make them...but I suck with tools.

Anyone have any instructions on the proper sizes and such?? Thanks!

I generally try to keep bags and cornholes separated. I've only heard of the game being called cornhole, good links here for when I get ambitious and build myself a board some day. $40 for the freaking bean bags is ridiculous though.

Can't get the image to upload!! If it's just saved on my computer, where do I get a hyperlink or create one?

You can do what I (not savvy but sneaky and stubborn) do and create a free photobucket (or some such thing) account. Upload your photo there and then copy the HTML code and paste it into your IE post.

I'm sure that there's probably an easier way that others can walk you through.

in Michigan they just call it "Bags".

I have never heard it called Cornhole LOL.

To be fair though the game of champions is that one with the golf balls on a string and you have to throw it at the bars.

It depends what you are playing in Philly----if you are playing on the bigger wooden boards with thicker, heavier, cloth bags filled with corn, then it is cornhole. If you are playing on the plastic boards with lighter bags filled with sand or beans, then its Bagg-o.

Personally, the term "bags" annoys me for some reason, but it seems to be a midwest term. My friend who lived in Chicago for 4-5 years said thats why they called it out there.

Also, we had our first match in our Cornhole league last night at a local bar. The opposing team scored 6 points in 3 games against us. Romp fest.

I purchased the navy from Lowes -- they have all of the university colors so you can tell them you want "ND Navy" and they will match it perfectly.

Here are my boards painted Navy with the templates in place.

Here they are after the kelly green and gold paint. The green in the photo looks almost aqua, in real life it is kelly green.

Where did you get the templates? I have two boards I made that I'm really proud of, but I haven't painted them yet.

Has always been referred to as cornhole here in Muncie.

And the other team only scored 6 in 3 games? Beat down.

I have a custom set similar in design. My son in laws dad is into wood working so he made me a set for $100. Don't know what wood he used but it was nice. I then had a leprechaun logo and a monogram logo made at a sign shop. One board I painted blue with two gold stripes top and bottom with the monogram in the middle. The other has the leprechaun with blue and green. I'll try to take post a pic if I get time.

Actually, here in Iowa most of us call it "bags". I live in Ames, and have Iowa State season tix.

Last year at the tailgate for the BYU game, a tailgate next to us had the most amazing boards I've ever seen. It was a beautiful mural of TD Jesus on both.

Somebody did some marvelous work on these things because they were gorgeous.

Me and my buddy kicked an ex UM football trainer's butt last weekend at tailgating at bags.
