Daquan apparently has already received scholarship offers from Virginia Tech and South Carolina.

Spoke with someone over the weekend and they had mentioned that Daquan is a silent verbal to South Carolina.

A recent article says that Clemson is now in the lead and he could possible verbal as early as this summer. Notre Dame has offered.

One defensive line prospect Clemson can count on for the 2008 class is Daquan Bowers (6-5, 260) of Bamberg-Ehrhardt. He is all set to commit to the Tigers, according to his coach Ron Duncan.

Bowers would become the second 2008 commitment for the Tigers, joining Blythewood receiver Marquan Jones.

Daquan was listed as a Top 30 prospect in the Class of 2008 by Rivals in their recently released recruiting yearbook. He's the only DT on the list, so it looks like he'll be the top ranked DT in the country initially.

Yea, I figured he didn't but I found it odd that his Scout profile did ( I know, BGI is spot on with offers).

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isnt it very hard for juniors to get offers early due to certain academic requirements needed at ND?
