Jay-Z's worth 475 million has signed Kevin Durant and Robinson Cano. Rebranded the Brooklyn Nets and made the Nets an actual valid desination for NBA stars. He's not a businessman He's a business Man. He knows what he's doing.

So? Again, who cares how much he is "worth". That's something for the tabloids. There are 18 NFL owners that are BILLIONAIRES. 475 million....how cute. Chump change for guys like Paul Allen, Kahn, Snyder, Kraft, and Jerry Jones.

So you can put that to bed.


I don't think his name is gonna get him any special deals, regardless of his street cred. And yes, he's with the Nets, but the billionaire Russian is the one pulling the strings. Hova doesn't get jack done with them unless Drago gives the ok.


We'll see how he does. As someone else mentioned, he is just getting going. But I"m not buying this "Look at me! I signed with Roc Nation....it's Jay-Z!!!" stuff going over with NFL owners and how they manage their franchises and their images.

I think everyone here is well aware of his selling of drugs. However, no one was talking about it. Why you are upset that no one was talking about it must be because of some personal problem that I personally don't care about.

If you want to continue to have this conversation it would probably be best for the rest of the members here that we take it to PM. I will be happy to include you on my personal habits and beliefs if that is what you are interested in.

Besides, how much do you really know about jay-z anyway? What he and his PR team release. If you aren't his accountant or lawyer, then I'd venture to say you don't really know how much money he makes, what his actual "worth" is (these are estimates made, often times, by somebody not really qualified to estimate it...but just to get notice to their self, their employer, their subject, or their publisher...in other words, more PR), or what business ventures he's had that have failed or haven't done well. Yes, undoubtedly, he's been successful in some business ventures.

As far as the PM goes, no need-- I don't care how much weed you buy and smoke.
