What video game are you playing?

Just got into iRacing a month or so ago.

iRacing.com | The Premier Online Sim Racing Game

Pretty expensive hobby as far as video games go, but it's a hell of a lot of fun. Really competitive and intense, people take it pretty damn seriously.

I'm only doing oval tracks for now, I'm in the Truck Series and the 'Class B' Stock Car series. Talladega this week!

Just bought a wheel for 150.00 so I guess I'm pretty committed at this point.

I'm having my truck and car painted by the guy who did this Caddy.... pretty damn sweet.

I've gone back in time and am playing one of the best games of all time: Doom.

Back in the mid- to late- nineties, I made maps for Doom. I've just recently gotten back into it, and I can't believe all of the mods and ports that have been made. There's so many things you can do with it. With the new ports, you can make ramps and 3D floors, deep water, and so many other things you couldn't do before. Some of the new maps are just amazing! I doubt this game will ever go out of style.

Picked up Red Dead Redemption at WalMart for $15, pretty fun so far.

I liked that game... the poker engine is real fun once you get teh suit that allows you to attempt cheating....

I like it too, the only drawback is it takes forever to get around on horses. Lol

The Last of Us. Simply amazing in every aspect. Then NCAA 14 and GTA V. And that is it until my PS4 gets delivered on release date. Unless demand is so high I can sell it for twice as much on ebay while I watch constant sports coverage of ND being previewed in the NC game again.. One can dream right?

Anyone with XBL can get Fable 3 for free. It isn't a terrible game, especially cause it is free. It would be a different story if I had to drop $60 on it though.

One of the open story based games tend to grab people, skyrim, fallout, dead island...

That's what I've been playing this past week,... Dead Island is really fun.

I had a long run with Skyrim, Assassin's Creed 3, NCAA 13, WWE 13, Gran Turismo 5, Battlefield 3, Uncharted Series, GTAIV, Metal Gear Solid 4, Total War Series...and oddly enough...really got into Railroad Tycoon haha

Fallout 3 is cheap now... Dead Island is going down in price... Both are basically Skyrim with different worlds and storys.

Right, I have both of them, sold Dead Island, played FO3 heavily years ago, including all expansions.

Maybe I'll get back into an old Simcity game...the new one is a shitstorm.

I enjoyed the Dragon Age games. Not as open ended as Skyrim but still enjoyable.

Yeah, I got tired of the story / universe they created after playing through most of the game.. still haven't finished it.

I prefer real time strategy...a blended RTS and turn based is ok too...Love the Total War games...I could just fire them up again!

Gotta try Wargame: Airland Battle. However, just play it for the multiplayer (which doesn't have the strategic aspects of the Total War series).

But, as a realistic RTS, its simply amazing.
