I don't think that today was the day they realized that EV won't be here if thats what your asking. They have spent the spring evaluation period searching for DE/DT with the idea that he won't be here. Like TP has stated in his thread there might be a 5% chance he shows up. Thats not good so here's plan B. Note that we have offered prospects at other positions today as well.
