Hate to be a wet blanket guy, but I highly doubt he'll be Irish. Just a gut feeling I have from everything I've read about the situation and a couple of guys I've talked to 'in the know'. I mean I'm talking like 3% chance (which will undoubtedly go up once he hits campus but I'm still not feeling this one at all)

Of course I hope big-time that I'm wrong, and it would be awesome if ND blew him away this week, but the lea leaves just don't give me the warm and fuzzies. For me it's kinda like Ryan Green his ND fan/teammate Gibbons, with Michael Deeb playing the Gibbons role. Think Sony will stay south...

I think you take him and Starks. Micheal is a RB, while Starks could play other positions.

If there a good fit as people as well as players then you take elite players and let the chips fall where they may.

I would rather overload at position in a cycle because you never know whats going to happen next cycle.

I want to have an Alabama like stable of RB's. They have plenty of talent returning and are bring in 4 awesome RB from last years class and they aren't stopping in '14 either as they are going after more and more elite RB's and would expect them to bring 2 in at least 2 and would be surprised if they brought in 3.

This a different era and it's a multiple RB game now and there are so many different types for different system and situations so I'm in for bring them all in.

You overload on RB's you are robbing Peter to pay Paul and taking roster spots from other position groups that take longer to mature (i.e. Oline). The only way to carry so many RB's is to oversign and cut players who dont work out..thats how Saban does it.

Sony was apparently a legend in FL before his ACL tear. still elite but IMO if healthy its:

Fournette
Michel

Everybody else

A legend? He injured his ACL in the beginning of his sophomore year. I read some time ago that there was always controversy about his age, some people say he is already 19 but he officially was born in february, 1995. Still older than Okwara haha.

I'm with NDnLA. He will stay south.

People knew about him in like 8th grade and knew he was going to be a beast. Which is part of the reason I find it funny he will probaly be going to UGA and not Miami, theyve want this kid for years now. That's just what I read somewhere.

Rumors of FL RB Sony Michel postponing scheduled announcement on 4/26 are untrue according to person who was with him on Wednesday night.

Haha just being honest, i dont think ND have much of shot with him. But hey i said the same thing about Eddie V

Any kid that is willing to do an unofficial visit to campus from the south has legit interest. Why waste money on the visit otherwise? The very fact that he is on campus means that we have a shot at him.
