I think he's a backup for Hood. And if Hood commits I think the staff will only take a elite RB or one with slot versatility like Michel.

I agree with this statement. Running back isn't a huge need anymore.

What happened to domelover3 that made this profile. He had lots of insight?

Could be that, or it could be that he worked them into B's.

But I will say, going from a F to a B in a week is quite a lot of work. Either his teachers let him make up stuff he skipped, or something fishy was going on, because there obviously wasn't enough assignments/tests to switch that.

The hashtag #Starpower also could mean any number of things such as a star in the classroom getting his grades up, or he used his "starpower" to get teachers to change their grades.

Either way dumb thing to put on social media

EDIT: I'm sure he wants everyone to think that he just worked hard the last week, but it clearly suggests academic fraud/just paints a poor image. Geez kid

Yea, I with you either way it is something really stupid to be excited about. Option 1 you are a slacker that has to see an F before you start working hard. Or option 2 you saw an F and walked into your teachers office and said I can't play sports if these are F's and they changed them.

If your F's are because of incomplete assignments, and then you turn them in, I could see getting B's if you've done a good job.

I'm sorry I'm not sorry but this completely annoys me. To get 3 F's is telling me you are either a complete moron or not motivated. But this kid will get a free ride to college where I'm sure he cares nothing about academics and the same thing will probably happen but he'll have some "assistance" to get him by.

Venting over.

I feel you on this. He obviously doesn't deserve to go to some of the great schools he has the option to go to. He has a Vanderbilt offer, something a lot of kids dream of but many won't get because of kids like this

I don't know...does a kid who's a born genius, who doesn't have to study at all, "deserve" to get into the good colleges that accept him? Some people win the brains lottery and some win the athletic lottery.

All students who aren't prepared for one quiz aren't good students or people.

Just saw the tweet above regarding F's to B's.... WTF?

was referring to more of the character issues.

i'm sure we've accepted worse into the school, but I just don't like a kid pretty much bashing academics by showing he's a procrastinator, and not living up to his full potential in the classroom.

then again i'm a teacher so that stuff would bother me.
