Agh. Brey at his finest. No adjustments and letting the guys play like crap. Biedscheid looks lost. North Buffalo Irish hit it on the head, get some looks for Connaughton. Only relaxing thought is that is the worst ND could possibly play and are still in this.

So are loads of teams that we played and beat. It's a cop out to act like this Iowa State team is miles better than we are. The team looked unprepared for the first 10 minutes, and shellshocked for the last 10.

Yep. I picked ISU in all of my brackets. Just a terrible matchup for this team.

I would take the first ten minutes over the last 10. I think the game changing play was the missed 3 pointer by either Grant or Atkins with ND up 4. That would have been a nice little blanket but ISU came down and scored a quick bucket and then never looked back.

I just don't get why teams like ND and Georgetown w/ great coaches like JTIII and Brey can do so well in the regular season and routinely disappointing in the Tournament.

Maybe a change to traditional uniforms during the half will provide a bump in attitude and performance.

Not allowing the physical play typical of Big East play, but this year the refs seem to allow even rougher/tougher type play. Maybe they are physically and mentally exhausted every year after playing such a rigourous schedule. Whatever it is, it sure is frustrating.

Yep

All the Big East critics say we play rough and hand check etc. Yet ISU is hand checking (or as their coach called it "tracing the ball") more than any team I have seen this year vs ND

wow, still look horrible. little passion. the night and season looks to be over. Man, 16 minutes to go and saying that makes me sick. But, this is a better team than us.

Hope I am wrong, a little spurt of passion now. But, hope e can come back.
