Wooly's the man. People need to understand what's really going on here.

In spite of his oxymoronic IE persona as a hippie banker, Wooly is actually Hank Paulson, the greatest, toughest banker in the world, the Mike Ditka of bankers, or the Bob Diaco of bankers, if you like -- who would win in a fight, Ditka or Diaco? -- who would win in a fight, Ditka and Diaco as a tag team pair, or a hurricane? -- (or the Bill Bratzke of bankers, if you like), and he has left his current job to re-establish his alma mater Dartmouth as a football powerhouse, with none other than Gunner Kiel as his QB and cornerstone of the program. All per Sapp.

Wooly hasn't posted since Feb 23rd when TP returned to the site. He got pissed, and rightfully so I might add, that people (not TP) were accusing him of being behind the threats. He is just taking a break from posting to enjoy the finer things in life.... like you know, washing jocks.

Da fuk????????? Did you quote the right guy? Where did I say or imply that I wanted to know his business?

LOL...weird post. But I guess I'm the weird one (or should I say 'putz' as you love to call me LOL) cause I never understand 95% of your posts unless they have to do with grammar. I'd put you on ignore (I've never done that before) but since you never post on football topics we'll pretty much avoid each other.

It'd be better for the site if we keep the peace...

I can't speak for dshans, but this is how I see it:

He quoted your post, because it segued nicely into his response about the 20 mule team borax, a reference to an old Borax laundry detergent ad campaign. The second part, about wooly's business being nunyas was not directed at you, personally, but at the board, in general. They were two separate thoughts, as I read them.

There's a whole lot of butt-hurtness going on, on this board, lately. I would suggest that everyone take a break of a day or two (in shifts, preferably, and not all at once), and spend some extra time with the people who mean the most to you. I stopped by my brother's house, yesterday, to see my neices and drop off some stuff that I brought back from my recent trip to Jordan for them. Just 5 minutes with them, and 90% of the stress in my life was washed away, leaving me with a completely fresh attitude. Sometimes, we just hold on to things that shouldn't mean too much, way too tightly. God Bless you all, and try to find something to smile about, every day.

It's the offseason past signing day. People have nothing to complain about so they find things.

Who has blown things out of proportion in the past?

You do, and there are plenty of examples. But whatever, that's in the past.

And it wasn't just dshans and me.

The thread was fine until dshans told us to mind our own business and then you chimed in chastising those having fun with it. Read golden's post or Bob's posts to find the meaning of this thread. Like I said, no one is making it personal with wooly...the people posting jokes about the whole situation obviously like him.

Mountain out of a molehill.

Off topic, but I once saw the queen of Jordan speak......all I can say is that she is simply stunning.

Like I said, the Borax thing was over my head.

The 2nd part I can see now after he explained, about him addressing the entire board. I still didn't see anyone ripping Wooly, but I guess I'm blinded because apparently people are.

The part about taking a break is true. The month off for me was fine. I came back and I'm still going to post the same, have fun, debate, yada yada yada. Dshans has a history of taking shots at me so I addressed it. I'm good though...I thought this thread was supposed to be about fun so when he said what he said (and bogs) it took me back b/c everyone was having fun with it, and not at the expense of Wooly IMO.

But yeah, I'm smiling b/c this is supposed to be a fun thing and now that I'm not modding, fun it will be. Great post...

I figured out where wooly is. Dennis Rodman took him to North Korea and left him there as an ambassador to teach them dude.

Someone need to bring a couple halogens up in here.
Or, if it gets really bad, we can always break the cat pics out again.

Even further off topic: Jordan is a relative sea of calm, surrounded by an ocean of turmoil. Syria to the North, Egypt and Israel to the West, Iraq to the East............ everywhere around the area there is serious unrest and political strife. But Jordan is actually very peaceful. I think it's a testament to the King and Queen, that they have ruled well, that there is such contentment in their kingdom. Fantastic country.......... more history than you can imagine: Mt. Nebo is where Moses reportedly died, John the Baptist baptized Christ in the River Jordan, the Jordan River Valley is the "wilderness" that Christ spent 40 days and nights in, that gives us Lent, Aqaba has been an inhabited settlement since 4000 BC......... Petra is about 2500 years old... fascinating country.

We need a thread to let it out because I respect people who call it how it is.
