Little small by our regular LB recruiting standards, but is by all accounts an elite player in the '14 class. Teammate of Adoree' Jackson at Junipero Serra HS. ND coaches have stopped by twice recently to check in on the pair.

Junipero Serra seems like they are just constantly loaded with studs.

He is small for what ND seems to want. NDs LBs typically in 240-255 range. At 6-1 does he have the frame to add 30 lbs?

I mean the thing is though our ILBs have been huge, but certain CAT prospects have been smaller if they possess elite skill. Shembo is about 6'1, 6'2 and is working out fine, and Hollins is about the same height and we are currently targeting him, but both are elite pass rushers. If you are going against the prototype is seems you have to make up for it in other areas big time.

I do really like this kids Junior Film though. He can really move and stick people.

Looks like one of USC's undersized LBs like Dion Bailey or Hayes Pullard

He does kinda of reminds me of Alec Ogletree ILB from Georgia.

There seems to be a lot of players in this years class that have a lot of potential at multiple positions with this guy being one of them. Probably too small to play OLB in our 3-4 but what about SS like Jamoris.

Ogletree comparison is very good IMO.

Ogletree was a safety originally and moved to ILB.
Williams is often referred to as a LB/Safety when being analyzed.

Ogletree is 6-3 and is projected by quite a few sources to be the no. 1 ILB off the board in this years draft....Let's not get ahead of ourselves.

Every recruit gets compared to stars.

I personally see this guy as the next Percy Harvin.

Oh, I'm guilty of the same thing. I do it just as much as the next guy. But I can't compare this kid to a guy that's a legit 6-3 freak athlete. Dion Bailey would be a favorable comparison in terms of stature and athleticism.

I like that comparison. A small but fast and athletic LB. At times those kind of LB's are too small to set the edge or take on guards up the middle

Top 16? Why not make it an even 20?

He has 42 offers and not a ND one, why would we be in it?
