Agree

...I wanted JS to get more film for his future more than for our needs.

I loved his willingness to put the wood to folks, and still cover well...hope he gets a shot at the next level...good kid.

out of this list, who would be the studs? asking a question looking for some debate.. we may be stocked, but does that mean we're stocked with studs?

That group is exaggerated by some people who probably wont see the field.

Baratti, Collinsworth, Shumate, Farley and Prosise are the most likely to see playing time. Maybe Badger. Slaughter would add leadership and great talent, and would allow for more depth on special teams.

Agreed. There is not one guy on that list that can come in and play at Slaughter's level next year. Most aren't even in the same ballpark.

That's even before we get to the leadership aspect of it, too.

I also want Slaughter back next year, badly. Tragedy the NCAA can do this to a kid. He never did anything wrong through out his career. He and the team could've benefited immensely with another year of him patrolling the secondary. His EXPERIENCE and leadership will be sorely missed.
