I can't see this have much of a tie to usc other then the family being an SC family..though the woods tweet IS odd... for anyone reaching big time on a kiffin move of some sort... Teo met Lk back in 09 right? Peter Carroll was still around... Though I do believe he left that year...

What do you guys think? Interview with perhaps the most respected sports journalist going, but no camera so they can't play it on a loop for the next week?

espn is always looking for the sensational angle....my fear is post-interview, ESPN will collectively go "Jim Gray" on Manti.

I think he should've done it on camera. Think this was a huge mistake. Words are much more powerful when you actually see them said and can see HOW they were said. Way too much room for interpretation when you just see a freaking transcript.
