Sportscenter had a timeline of the notable events in the Te'o hoax and it had on the timeline that "Te'o talks to ESPN's Jeremy Schaap" as an entry for today. In the middle of the anchor reading this they quickly cut out and switched to first half highlights of the Celtics game.

Did he talk with Schaap today?

I saw this. Pretty much covered everything I had seen to this point. I just know at one point there was a Robert Woods alleged connection and possibly any other thing I may have missed in this most likely partially informational thread.

Robert Woods tweeted to the @iWorship account (which followed only 2 people, Lennay and Manti).

I attempted to look up the history of this post, and I could not search for it on wood's twitter. I might just.. not know twitter well (I don't) but could someone do this? I could see it very likely that Te'o mentioned Iworship and said he was doing something, then woods responded in a friendly manner.

That rational explanation just made the tinfoil hat mafia very angry.

Don't think it is real, there would be the verification mark next to his name if it was his actual account

Not that its real, but I just emailed a tweet from someone verified to me and the mark isn't on the tweet. Not when its looked at by itself

He's not that dumb. No way he would tweet something like that.

Come on.

I can see it now... "An Anonymous source claims there is an 81% chance that Robert Woods and Lane Kiffin were responsible for catfishing Manti Teo." -TMZ/Deadspin/ESPN

As much as the jokes have ticked me off at times, gotta ask. Has anyone seen a Ms. Swann parody of it? "He looka like a man". Seems like the one easy shot I haven't seen yet
