I remember most of the Ara era. I played football then and until Devine took over, and I still had fantasies of playing for Notre Dame until the end. I saw it all in the sixties, seventies, eighties, and nineties.

Ok I’m going to be honest, b/c I’ve been drinking, I’m an emotional mess right now. Listening to old clips as to how ND is no longer relevant, how elite player no longer want to come here, how we are no longer are a destination for great coaches, how we don’t have any more Knute Rockne’s, Hornung’s, George Gipper’s. We are a dead football power and will never return to our greatness.
