Having recently moved just outside Columbia, SC I am actually pulling for Michigan in this one. I am so tired of hearing the SEC chest thumping from a group of fans whose team has done nothing to earn anyone's respect.

I thought I wanted S. Car. in this game, but as I watch it, my disdain for the SEC arrogance is topping my dislike for UM and I'm unintentionally pulling for Blue.

I feel dirty and need to go take a hot shower after this one. Uggh.

You know, I'm really not. I've been pretty impressed with the SEC in recent years (blasphemy around here, I know), but this year I just haven't been. And it's not just SEC depth that I haven't been as impressed with, as it's also been the teams at/near the top. Don't get me wrong, they're certainly still a really good conference, but I entered this bowl season expecting them to hold their own, and not much more. And that's not how I've entered bowl seasons in the recent past.

That said, I picked Carolina to cover in this game, so they better get a move on it.
