Very true, diaco said preseason that they feel if they have a big defense they'll have a good defense.
There is an update on II of some scout team players and they talk about jones a fair amount. Quotes from Zachary Martin talking about his potential. It really seems that this kid just needs to get the physicality of the game down and he could be really good. It's great we have the luxury of redshirting him.
So is this kid gonna play at DE or NT?
@NDatRivals: Who has "jumped out" at Brian Kelly in bowl practices? Kelly notes Jarrett Grace, Jarron Jones. "There was a number of guys."
How can you not love this?! Those two are huge pieces in the puzzle for future success!

A few words I heard from him convinced me he had what it takes mentally to do it; and you cannot underestimate how big this guy is and how high his upside is . . .
Also he was at my prom last year and he "dougied" on the dancefloor. I will not lie he has some moves. At that point he was signed with Notre Dame and I bumped into him and wished him luck. I hope it works out for him because he really is a nice guy just hope he finds that drive this year.
Yeah, I'm a witness of his dance moves as well. Lol. Notre Dame has a thing called "Domer Fest" every year on orientation weekend for the freshman. All 3 schools are invited (Notre Dame, Holy Cross, and St. Mary's) and I saw pretty much all of the freshman football players there. Chris Brown and Nicky Baratti were dancing with these very fine females, and yes I was pretty jealous. The center was really crowded and it was all a bunch of sweaty grinding. Then I saw JJ and Sheldon dancing in the center, and I though he had some good moves as well. Haha
Be honest, were you jealous of the ladies or the guys? Lol.
I went against this kid in a football camp his senior year (my Junior) being as I was a 6' 2" 205 lb DE/OLB and OT in the making (we stopped using TE's) I got demolished. At least I never got pancaked or reverse pancaked. He was a beast in our area for three years, but his motor was the problem. It seemed like he would get caught going through the motions and not pursuing the ball carrier. This is the main reason he dropped near the end of the recruiting year. I hope this changes and he can be a force next year.
what HS? I played and then was a student coach for a year at St. John Fisher .. I love the ROC
